I had almost the exact same situation at our KFC (Wichita, KS)- except it was on Uber Eats. But speaking of Uber Eats, I’m so very sorry you’re having difficulty getting on the platform. I’ve had good luck with tips on there. As always- rooting for you! ❤

it be cause door dash has many hiring to many drivers is why its not slow just to much hiring

@@teresapennington9675 Yes, Door Dash has accepted too many drivers. But, January is always the slowest, even going into Feb. These months are slowest for both restaurants and retail as people are broke from the holidays. Once tax season rolls in and people start getting their returns, we'll see the deliveries pick back up.

Try taking a picture of your ID for Uber Eats on a black surface. I had difficulty as well but it worked for me on a black surface. Hope this helps. I would love to see you on youtube doing Uber Eats.

That is a frustrating run of orders for sure. I might have just taken the L and gone home for awhile so good for you for sticking with it. It’s hard to stay motivated on days like that. Those hand to me orders are crazy. Be careful when people put both, there have been scams. I have started taking my own pictures in that case to cover myself. I’m curious if you do UE. It’s not popular in my market I’ve only taken a few orders. I make my money with DD and I’m on a list for Instacart. All we can do is adapt.

I had to look, I thought I had already deleted the Roadie app-I haven’t, but it’s worse than most of the apps…did a few orders to give it a shot, but-nope!! Good luck, it has been disappointing earnings the last few weeks overall, *they* say it’s going to get better so hang in there! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I don't dash very often but I tried to go out this past Sunday morning when it's ALWAYS busy and It wouldn't let me get on the schedule until like 5pm! It's been so slow and the orders have been absolute crap

That looked like a ton of miles, are you reviewing you dollars made/mile? Do you have a lot of Walmarts in your area? Maybe Walmart Spark would be a good option. You really need dinner shifts to bring up your hourly rate. That 2-5pm time I'm guessing is really hurting your earnings. Amazon Flex would be a good thing that would guarantee you money.

ON ANY APPS... DONT WORRY ABOUT HOW MANY DROP OFFS IT IS... WORRY BOUT THE MILES. IF ITS 50$ FOR 25 TOTAL MILES THEN ITS A GOOD ONE. EVEN IF ITS 50$ FOR 40 MILES ITS STILL A GOOD ONE YOU GETTING MORE THEN A DOLLAR PER MILE. NO MATTER HOW MANY DROP OFFS.

Side note: Did you know that some people use that canned air to get high? I learned about it on a TV show, Addicted, I think. It's called Huffing. When I bought canned air for my laptop, I actually got carded at the store as they must know some people use it as a drug. When you handed the canned air to the girl, did she look under 18? My first thought when she was blowing up your phone to make sure you bought canned air instead of a mouse was she wanted it to get high as it doesn't seem people would be that pressed for it 🤔

Last night I went out at 4pm, had 6 apps open and only got a handful of non tippers.. mostly sat with absolutely no orders sent to my phone.. by 6pm I gave up... I'm so sick and tired of not getting anything to my phone for HOURS with 6 apps! I shouldn't be scraping for orders with 6 apps... ridiculous!

Take it easy and not go dashing on Tuesday.Tuesday is supper slow. I also dashed yesterday and only received one order which was too far away and I declined then no order at all for nearly two hours from 6:30 to 8pm in hotsot zone. I started to got some orders from 9pm to 11:30pm but only several orders. Same with u.

@Tony Huang Glad to hear I wasn't the only one! I took off Mon-Wed this week, didn't want to deal with the frustration and wasting gas. I'm going out tomorrow so hopefully it's picked up a bit. Sitting with no orders or driving to get orders (dead miles) absolutely drives me insane.

I got a big $30 order last night at 11:30pm to a 15 miles away place. After I get there and delivered the food, I found the order was changed to $20. Lol. Very upset coz I need to drive another 15 miles at mid night to home.

DD has really been slow and bs orders. I have been making more money with Roadie nothing is under 10,00 mostly and you see what you make up front, no guess work in what you are going to make. I think you would like it :)

I had the same problem taking a pic of my license when applying to either Uber Eats or Grub Hub. It was driving me nuts. I thought it was the app acting up as I'd just applied to another gig app with no problem. Something made me think to try using my old phone (just to complete application process and take pic) and it Worked! Don't know why, but it did. So, if your daughter has a phone or you have an old/extra one, temporarily download Uber Eats to her cell and log into your account and see if the picture will go through on her phone. 🤞 When taking pic of i.d., make sure to have your flash off. If it is too dark in my house, I use another cell's flashlight to shine light from above and take pic and it works.

You forgot to include your $7 cash tip for the daily total, so that brought your hourly to over $16/hr vs. $15. I know still bad👎 the afternoons are soooo slow, especially weekdays. One way I look at my slow days is if I didn't go Dash and stayed home, I would've made $0. As others said, definitely get more apps. Have you tried InstaCart? Good luck! ❤️
