My only party city order was four 24’ balloons that barely fit in my back seat. When I got to the store there were six drivers. My Friday, Saturday and sunday sucked. So slow and orders were not good.

Excellent choice of orders to accept Mama ❤. You'll save so much time and gas. Running around wasting gas for, 50 cents per mile is ridiculous Mama. Try sticking to your guns on that choice of orders to accept and you'll be able to see how much time is saved 😊❤❤❤. Love that you're able to get that debt down sweetie. Party City recently parted ways with the compaby previously providing delivery service for them. They are using Doordash almost exclusively now (I should have waited another second before pressing pause!!). The deliveries I'vw gotten from the Gateway Center location have been pretty good. It helps that I have Jeep Grand Cherokee...I can fit most orders!

OMG your face after getting the balloons says it all for dashing in general lately! HAHAHAHA!!! Not sure what's up with all the crap orders! Thought I would try in PPark the other day. 2 and 3 dollar offers, finally took the first $5 one and oh my, the traffic! Oh lordy I remembered why I left Pin-helll-as LOL! Back to NPR I went after about 90 minutes. God bless ya for not losing your mind. Congrats on a nice payment on that debt!

I follow about the same protocol as you regarding mileage, but I also take expected time into consideration. There are a few roads around my area that become bottlenecks during rush hour, so I won't take anything going across town during those times. Another strategy I employ is to take housework or office work from my other job with me while dashing. That way I am never sitting in my car with nothing to do. I always have my laptop with me and a portable power bank so that I can work from the road. That way I can stay out all day and never be unproductive.

Your orders are not good because you have a low acceptance rate. You have to keep it above 50 % for tier 1 and above 70 % for tier 2. Once I get above 70% I typically get pretty good orders. just FYI.

not shading, i have watched a couple of your videos to the end, i like your personality and honesty, but i have mild arthritis and getting in/out of car all day would be hard on my body, seems like alot of wear and tear on my body and on my car, new tires, oil changes, gas, parts etc.. thats why i started an ebay/etsy/poshmark store so i could work from home when i retired, sit inside air conditioning in summer, heat during snow, plus i live in a smaller town and alot of ppl live way out in the boonies and just too much driving, worry about hitting deer, black ice on the road in winter, slipping on someones steps in winter and break an ankle. I decided not to do it, if i lived closer to pittsburgh, pa i would try it at least cuz i imagine they would be busy, but i live too far away. i wonder if you could do a video one day about what food or other items ppl ordered if it doesnt affect some privacy policy or whatever

My belief only..the algorithms learn what you take and what you decline. So if you take $5 higher mileage orders it will keep feeding them to you. Try it out and see!

FYI: 5G technology isn’t fully developed yet. I would advise you go into the settings on your phone and change from 5G to 4G LTE or LTE. You will get better reception as well as saving battery life and data. Also, the Uber app uses more battery. I typically go offline on Uber when doing a DoorDash order as opposed to pausing Uber. Also I had a couple jackasses yesterday was four people not only that rich people trying to save a buck they needed to get Uber XL or comfort I'm pulling up in a Honda Fit I can fit three in the back and he was like well I can sit in the front and I'm like no I'm canceling you nobody sits in the front I don't even like taking three in the back because there's only two seat belts the guy wanted to give me some lip and say they do it all the time I'm like wow bet you do but you're not doing it this time

My suggestion is holidays play around with it because sometimes it can be busy and sometime. It. Can't so. If it's. Not busy? Do it a dollar. Per mile. That makes sense to you

I learned not to do gig work on major sporting events or holidays. My market is so saturated you might get 1 two dollar offer per hour. Cheaper to stay home.

With door dash It seems acceptance rate matters in the diamond zone. I drive in the same area as you and as long as my rate is good. I stay busy. I also took advantage of the reset they had going. Hope this helps..

(If u don't wanna say, I completely understand) and also, do you realize u say Krusty Krab for Krafty Krab??? 😂😂😂 I love it! ❤ I've also been super picky with orders lately, my AR is at like 38% 😔 but I'm tired of taking crappy orders, and luckily I have gotten really good ones thru Uber I got a $22 for Red Lobster for 11 miles, as soon as I accepted I regretted it, but thank baby Jesus, the man tipped me $20 so the total came out to &34and change!!!!! Ughhhhhh super grateful to him! Keep going even when u feel down! ❤
