I think I actually agree with you at this point. Reason…. 1) in the 4 yrs Ive had to do this, this platinum, silver, gold thing scam seems to be working the best. Top dasher & “you are the best person for this order, etc were all scams to. DD only has one priority and that is getting the order to the customer as quickly as possible. Therefore, they are not going to give the order to somebody 4 miles away with a better rating than me sitting in the parking lot (in general)….

I was trying for at least gold level. Took a few crap offers and made it to 46%. Then I started getting more and more crap offers that I just wouldn't take (LOTS of stupid-ass stacked offers). Now I'm back down to 11% and still getting enough decent-ish offers to make it worth my time and just shaking my head at all the crap offers.

The reason why I do that is because I don’t see it and if I’m trying to raise my acceptance rate at least I don’t have to see the bad order. All I gotta do is take it and normally if you take your time doing it within that hour, you’ll make the average amount of 1450 or 1350 whatever they’re paying you wherever you are.

Drive thrus so jacked up last night.. Soo I decided what the hell ? Maybe I will try pay by the hour. I was in the drive thru so long, They added an additional order. $32 for 2 Taco Bell orders. One of the Taco Bell customers asked me to cancel their order. Because I informed them it was going to be awhile. I explained " I'm not able to cancel the order, All it will do is assign the order to another driver." - if they cancel it on their end I still get paid.. (And no way am I sitting in that drive-thru with for all that time and not getting paid.) - but I'm not telling them that..

When someone orders far away from the restaurant, after i get to the restaurant, i call the customer and ask if they are aware it's going to take an hour to drive it to them and ask if they still want it -- 9 out of 10 say no. So, i tell them to cancel it (and I wont pick it up) and reorder from a closer restaurant Then, I call support and get the $3. In 9 out of 10 orders, they cancel. On the one that doesn't, I take it if its okay and cancel if it's not. You should try it!

if you are in a good market that has the big orders, then having the high AR and platinum is great. I have been getting large orders for 30+$ that i have never seen before. The lower tiers won't even be showed those large orders. I have been getting them consistently as well. Also scheduling ahead seems to help get those large orders.

I’ve been wondering about this , I think the program IS in my area because I see tiers and such , but I find dash now is available still and I STAY under 25%AR . It updates every 10 minutes even if it says Dash now unavailable, I just wait 10 mins and it’ll pop up 🤷🏽‍♀️ is there ANOTHER tier coming out? I’m in a pretty decent sized market so I wonder if dash now depends MOSTLY on how many dashers are Available/online more than anything? Or a whole new program all together??? Hope this makes sense.

If you want - now, you have to raise your acceptance rate and have high priority orders. That’s when you can dash when it’s gray and that’s when it’s normally not busy if it’s red anybody can dash now
