DASH Cat Back Exhaust For Y62 Patrol

I have reviewed some of the top exhausts available for the MIGHTY Y62 and have learned that it’s all down to personal preference. Some like it quiet whilst others like it LOUD. For me and my family, we have found the perfect system, I like so much I have done a deal with the manufacturer to put my name on it!! Damn you! Take delivery in Dec and had made a decision on the Torqit.

By increasing the diameter of the section just after the cats you loose bottom end unless you tune it afterwards. First thing I noticed after fitting Torqit system. I also found out after sitting in the passenger seat the exhaust is a little droney when compared to the drivers seat.

I can’t say I’m a big fan of valves exhausts. When closed they sound like a wet fart 💨

Just curious why not have the whole exhaust ceramic coated as I assume this should provide better benefits?

Mainly due to cost.

If you want to hear a good exhaust and a super fast rig my mate Stewy has a sick 200 series. He put me onto a $1200 tune, an my 200 is super quick and even has a nice note out the oil filler cap. Beat that!!!

The exhaust sounds awesome mate! Definitely a distinctive note there too. Given it’s similarity to the Harrop system, may I ask if the Dash exhaust is manufactured by Harrop with the Dash updates or are you having it built elsewhere? Not sure if Harrop even build there’s in house. I always appreciate your transparency Dave so look forward to hearing more about the development on this one. Legend 👍

As you know I’m always transparent, but it would be wrong for me to speak on anything of Harrop’s that could be sensitive. It fair to say we have a good relationship with Harrop and they I share our developments with them. The DASH exhaust is not made by Harrop though.

Aus made, we have a concerted effort currently to fatten up our Oz made mix. Just in case China goes to custard 🤷‍♂️😬

Not really. I did sit in George’s car for 22hrs on the way to LCMP and thought it was pretty good
