I would love to see them adding the possibility for the player to change the map. For example to construct roads or improve parts by dumping gravel etc.. That would add a lot of motivation. Maybe even add Map Parts, where you have to clear a forest in order to get to a location and then really construct roads, lights and so on.

Then it just becomes a construction sim, I bought the game to go OFF ROAD, not be a pussy and take the easy way. Like the title says SNOWrunner, not GRAVELrunner.

Two things: 1.) There is a task (contract? I forget) that does have you haul 2 cargo containers out of the quarry to the warehouse in the SW of that map. 2.) The next zone (Island Lake) has neither a garage nor fuel station, so you cannot recover there (using recover takes you back to Smithville Dam!) and you *need* to have fuel trailers/trucks to refuel (the map is absolutely littered with fuel trailers though, so... you can sort of get away without buying more).

Love the vids, something I've been doing in singleplayer is having the flatbed addon on the truck, towing one of the ramped trailers that hold 4 cargo, and then winch towing a second ramped trailer with 4 cargo, creating a pseudo tandem trailer setup with 10 cargo space. Winch towing semi-trailers doesnt work very well because the feet catch on everything.

The international is a good workhorse, did all the missions in first map of Michigan with it, even tried multitasking and deliver 4 lots of gargo at the same time and it worked really well. Bought a second one as a rescue/backup vehicle just in case.

at 15:30 ish about rain and affecting map. It was done pretty successful by modders in Mudrunner. It didnt make the mud wetter (i think, dont quite remember) but you could see rain hitting the ground. Also had some neat lightning effects.

A mod has been released to remove the driver from the cab, so you can use first person view without flailing arms

They should make fixing the roads a part of the progression and end game. You are already fixing bridges and clearing rock slides. Put, gravel truck, bulldozer, bucket loader, grader and put a functioning roadwork in place.

"you can't do alaska without the proper tyres..." Yeah, no. I did half of the first area of Alaska in single player with just the fleetstar on all terrains, then I found the Royal. The secret is to stay away from low gear and actually try lines rather than just assume you can't drive through it if there's any water.

Speaking about what you feel in the game like the turning circle decreasing when hitting throttle but imagine how playing this game would feel on the ps5 controller with the sticks changing texture when hitting the mud then water then mud then hard sand man gonna be amazing, and then the snow

I like the International, but like you said, upgrades are locked away for later. I switched to the White you can get there because I you can get it raised and off-road tires earlier.

I hope they ad a hardcore mode. And maybe some random gen tow missions. So you can keep some money going in. Having to pay for repairs and fuel would be awesome. I think it would be awesome to make an X1-4 type of game with a big open sandbox. Where you are dealing with a flowing economy and competitive Shipping companies, maybe set it in a post-apocalypse mad max style world. Driving around in this game, I feel like I'm in one already.No direct combat but maybe raming and wrecking trucks then taking their supplies. It would give more uses for scouts and heavy trucks without trailers. But perhaps I'm crazy, lol. I love the RPG aspects of this game and would like to play a wider scope RPG/sim, especially with coop.

Piece of advice: use the other trailer, the one with the rim and just 4 weels (don't know the name in English), is much lighter and easier to use compared to that one.

If repairing and refueling no longer happens at the garage I'd want that to be an option. I'm casual and don't have a lot of time to play, so being able to return to the garage if I flip or whatever is really nice. Maybe have a real mode where you can't do that and all repairs cost money and need to be sorted at a mechanic would be good just as long as it's not the only choice. Also I'm surprised there's no gear selecting mode.

I think updates of real substance could be a while out, with the "work from home" thing, and other official messages from Saber, I think quick fixes are out unfortunately, which is a shame as under normal circumstances I'd guess more fixes and updates would have happened by now
