Otherwise, here’s my bargain-basement Lieutenant Commander Data roleplay, where he has a rather odd request… He would like you to take part in a survey to help him better understand the human experience. It shouldn’t take long, and he’s being his usual sweet and naïve self. So, why not, eh? The ‘tin man’ characters were always my favourites.
This Star Trek the Next Generation Roleplay features soft-spoken questions, tapping sounds, some light triggers, and more. I think I got the look down (ignoring the wig) but couldn’t quite nail the voice… Hopefully the mannerisms and character are there enough for you to enjoy it though! Thank you!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

So. My mom just had surgery for pancreatic cancer. I just found out I need a hip replacement. My stepdad has a brain tumor and needs surgery to restore his hearing. It’s been a ROUGH few weeks. I literally just got home from the hospital where I was taking care of my mom, and this was the first ASMR video I saw when I opened up my feed. Ok, I'm a long time Star Trek fan and Data has always been one of my favorite characters, since the very first episode. You got a lot of him right. The only thing is that he can't say contractions, tho they didn't catch him doing that at first. But as the series went on, he stopped for the most part. But, his thoughtfulness, his consideration, his attitude, his mannerisms, how he talks, you got that down really good. As for the answers to the questions about the shapes, they made me feel kind of nostalgic. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons and it was a lot of fun for me and I really miss the people I used to play with.. I really enjoy this. Thank you!

Data was always my favorite when I was younger, finding out as an adult that I'm autistic made that make A Lot of sense. Anyways this is fantastic, and I know you said in the description that you couldn't nail the voice but I think you got pretty darn close. Data is just a little bit more stilted in the way he talks, but the smoother cadence you have makes this audio more relaxing so I think it's a fair trade for this video.
