@@ranasagar699 You want to master Exploratory Data Analysis as well as it can help to plan your project and give essential preliminary insights. After ML would be to deploy the model. Check out streamlit, I've made a couple of videos about it here bit.ly/dataprofessor-streamlit

Hi Data Professor, can you explain more about the box plot and scatter plot that you mentioned after doing the feature importance? Any resources to understand more about it?

@patelajay1010

I have one question. Please help me in this situation. My task is, preventing maintenance of a pump. I have done some research but still I am confused, do I need to use machine learning regression or classification model? Also, I want to know that if I have RMS value around 0.0010 both in training and validation, will it be over fitting? Thank you very much in advance...
@DataProfessor
@DataProfessor 4 жыл бұрын
The value of RMSE varies with the units of the data in a given dataset. A quick check for overfitting is to see whether your training and validation sets performs at a similar level of performance. It is normal for training to perform better than the validation. But if the performance of both sets differs too much then you can suspect overfitting.

@@DataProfessor ok sir and what about my first question. Regression or classification?
@DataProfessor
@DataProfessor 4 жыл бұрын
@@patelajay1010 The choice of whether to use regression or classification depends on the target Y variable, is it quantitative (regression) or qualitative (classification)

Thanks! Is R still relevant for data science field or I have to prefer Python after some time to have better job opportunities?
@DataProfessor
@DataProfessor 4 жыл бұрын
R is still relevant but may be less popular than Python which is more mainstream and has broader utility. For example, strength of R is its statistics functionality and libraries for various domains (biology, chemistry, sports, etc) that may not me available in Python. I made a video about this topic kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKrLY3uLZsqZpZY
