SAVE MONEY ON YOUR INTEGRATED ENGINEERING PURCHASES BY USING THIS LINK: - performancebyie.com/vancityaudi Now that I've had some time with the car I have realized that if you don't push through the kick down when you floor the car, it will not downshift and it will stay in the appropriate gear you want to log the car in. I'd also like to apologize for the horrible glare while filming. Since I've recorded this video I now use a screen recorder to share all of my datalogs so it is easier to see and understand for you all.

So DONT push through the Kickdown? Interesting, Do you know if you use the data log with only the dongle or do you have to pay for each vin?
@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
@@bagelbandit6076 correct. Do NOT push thru the kick down for an accurate WOT log and it won't downshift. I registered my VIN to the cable so I think you can only use it for a certain amount of cars.

I know it works for the door deeper, if you push the ‘reset’ button twice, on your right stalk, it mutes the beeper. It might work for the ignition beeper

Does VCDS have any advantage or feature than IE datalink doesn't?
@VancityAudi4 жыл бұрын
You can make modifications to the car with VCDS. You can tune with Powerlink. They both can datalog.
@BigMotorLover2 жыл бұрын
Why datalog with this? IE normally doesnt do revisions. Maybe if your adding a JB4 and its not as if you can change the IE tune yourself
@VancityAudi2 жыл бұрын
The fact you're asking why you'd log your car scares me. How else would you tell if everything was running properly or if it's running to its max potential? This has nothing to with making revisions to your tunes..it has everything to do with checking on the health of your vehicle.

I am trying to learn and understand what to look for and log the best i can but honestly this has been the best info. Can you or anyone please direct me in anyway to learn and diagnose my misfire! Also came up as an imbalance followed by misfire. Please!!!!! @vancityaudi

Are you only experiencing timing correction or retardation in cylinder 2? If so, then you know the problem is only with that cylinder and could be a spark plug, a coil pack, or an injector. If it is pulling timing equally among all your cylinders, then it could be something wrong with a fuel pump or the fuel itself.
@koncretesurfer5295 Жыл бұрын
@@VancityAudi thank you. Yeah changed plugs, swapped coils. Stays with C2. Seems to be in the 50-150 misfire range when cold start and than goes away to maybe 10-20 if I step on it. Other than that it goes away with normal driving. Going to plug in IE when driving. Just looking to figure out what variables to watch for now.
@VancityAudi Жыл бұрын
@@koncretesurfer5295 I can't believe you're stepping on it while it's misfiring, lol. Talk about just asking for it. Scope it. Leak down test it. Have your injectors tested. Don't f$cking step on it while it's misfiring horribly, lol.

@@VancityAudiI'm not exactly stepping on it, no WOT but I was testing the waters while logging the count. It doesnt seem to misfire when I do drive it. Sorry if any confusion.
