Sit wat is use of moleculer dynamics in drug designing how can we do using python
@DataProfessor4 жыл бұрын
Molecular dynamics allow us to investigate the motion of protein structure, particularly we will be seeing how amino acid residues move as a function of time. Such information is crucial for drug design as it provides us with knowledge into which regions of the protein structure are rigid or flexible and thus helps in the design of drugs to target the protein.

I find it really interesting how two so different fields such as biology and computer science can be combined together. You probably view many topics not just through the CS-glasses but also through the biology-glasses. Either way it's awesome that people like you share their knowledge with the world! :)

Glad that you're find this helpful. It is indeed fun to look at the problem from both viewpoints and approaches used in one may inspire the other. Take for example genetic algorithm which takes its inspiration from genetics; ant colony optimization from ant colonies and their pheromones, particle swarm optimization from animal herds/schools/herds, and the list goes on. Computer algorithms takes a lot of inspiration from biology, very awesome stuff.

Hello,actually i am new to this coding, have done my bachelor's degree in mechanical, currently I have 2 year of experience in e-commerce industry. I want to go into machine learning/artificial intelligence field so it's probably possible or not But once I get a guide roadmap how and from where to start to enter it will be helpful for me. Hope you reply.. Which language should I learn.

Sir, which is the best country to do MS Bioinformatics?

I'm pursuing undergrad in Bioinformatics, minoring in CS, however, I'm perplexed regarding how i should prepare myself for Masters in Bioinf? I meant to say in each major, students do a lot of stuff such as internships along with studies.. but in case of bioinf students who wanna pursue Masters in Bioinf or related fields, is there any proper career guideline for them?

Excelent! I was wondering what is the difference between Padel Fingerprints and RDKit ECPF-like or FCPF-like Fingerprints? Are they better?
@DataProfessor4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think you mean ECFP (extended connectivity fingerprint) and these essentially explains the chemical structure into radiating circles of various diameters. Both PaDEL and RDKit under the hood makes use of CDK for computing these descriptors, thus they are the same.

Hi, the playlists would be a start, the same is with certification or online courses. It is essential to build up your data science portfolio, check out the recommended video that I included in the other response to your other question, where I show how to build a portfolio in GitHub.

I have a few questions for you. (1) Is Bioinformatics a booming field with a bright future? (2) Would a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Bioinformatics be enough to be successful in industry in the USA? I hope to take more computer science/IT courses while I am still in school. (3) Can I leverage the skills I learn to obtain other data science/analyst roles that don't pertain to Biology in particular?
