Yummy doodles, I love oats. How firmly did you tamp them down? Light, medium, or with all your might? Thanks for another great recipe, Geoff. Simple is almost always the most satisfying.

Hi Spiderbirdie. I have a heavy meat pounder which I didn't use as I thought that might be too firmly packed. However I used the back of a spoon until the oats were quite firmly set together.
