I worked on editing this show and they just tell them what to say in the "interviews" so they just parrot it back. It wasn't acting, per se. Like, they'd tell them to say "Wow, that girl was hot" and then "Ew, that girl was ugly" but not even know who it was going to be attributed to.

I just remember the producer, Kalissa, (who also did "Next") would prompt them to say horrible things ("Ew, she's so ugly, now I know why she's single") and if the contestant was smart enough to be like "Yeah, I don't want to say that," she'd bully them and say, "I thought you said you wanted to be on TV" or "You said you were going to be cool." She was ruthless and that's why the contestants always said horrible things because she wouldn't let it go until you did. IMDb lists some of the people on the show though; they probably self-submitted to claim their 15 minutes of fame. If you want to look up random people who were on the show.
