My friend, who was in a same sex relationship, had a daughter and didn't discuss it with her daughter. I think her daughter is almost overly straight (if you can be that). I'm guessing it depends on the couple and hiw they care for their child. Because this shouldn't even be a conversation, just as it isn't with a hetero couple.
