Dating at 60+/Honest Truth of Dating Filipinas based on a foreigner's experiences, Philippines

In this video I share my experiences of dating filipinas as a Senior Expat.
Prior to heading to the Philippines for the first time I was swayed by Vloggers continual mantra that filipinas don’t discriminate against age and are open to relationships with old foreigners well past their sell by date. Which was music to my ears as I approached my 58th anniversary.
Since I’d turned 50 I’d become invisible in the UK. Had been living in Brighton, by the coast and gone through a period of unintentional celibacy having only had sex once in the previous ten years.
So if all the Vloggers were to be believed I was heading to the Philippines under the illusion that just walking out of my hotel or condo the streets would be paved with posses of salivating filipinas as you inch gingerly along the obstacle strewn sidewalk. Now I’ve had my fair share of serious relationships. Serious relationships for me ended at the age of 45. Having shunned commitment all my life, being pretty much a serious bachelor, did I really come to the Philippines seeking a serious relationship at the age of 58?
Now I must stress that Not all Filipinas are Sperm banks.
Many commenters on my videos say that all filipinas just use foreigners as ATMs. But it’s not as clear cut as that. Sure some filipinas are out to fleece foreigners. But many filipinas actually have good jobs and don’t need your money. As one filipina pointed out whilst being iterviewed on a KZbin channel I saw recently saYing “ I have my own money. I don’t need a foreigner.”
You’re living in more salubrious surroundings in a guarded condo with a comfy bed, hot shower, a/c, swimming pool and gym. You’re invisible back home
But suddenly you’re God’s gift to young Filipinas in their late teens and twenties who are attracted to you.
You can certainly understand why filipinas turn to foreigners for security and to live a more comfortable and secure lifestyle.
Oh My Gosh, what makes me so irresistible all of a sudden?
Now naturally I’d have a lot more in common with a filipina of my own generation or maybe thirty years younger But ……..and I know I’m gonna get criticised for this comment, but who cares, I prefer saying how it is, rather than pussy foot around, if you excuse the pun……
In an ideal world I’d much rather date an older filipina In her thirties or forties. But the Philippines isn’t an ideal world. And after 35 years of age filipinas are generally past their sell by date As their muffin top spreads more rapidly and too lazy to do anything about that.
Of course where poverty is concerned many filipinas can’t be too fussy.
Especially the filipina who got knocked up at 19 by her filipino boyfriend who showed his prowess at running at fast speed as soon as news of her pregnancy was announced.Filipinas look to foreigners for salvation who’ve come to the save their lives as the majority of filipino guys wouldn’t consider hooking up with a single mother. But you will.
Having lived here 3.5 years I’ve grown more cynical about dating filipinas.
On meeting a new Filipina I’m reminded of the Monaco song - What do you want from Me?
I really don’t trust filipinas at all. In my mind A filipina is guilty, unless proven innocent. But it’s not only filipinas cheating on their filipino partners, but also filipinas cheating on their foreign boyfriends.
As my time in the Philippines progressed my getting attention from filipinas regressed. To an extent that I thought maybe I dreamt the attention I was getting when I first arrived in Cebu. Advisers say Get out the big cities and you’ll get more action. You don’t even have to be a blue eyed blonde resembling Donald Trump. Even an ugly Joe with a combover wearing Jesus Boots will get attention as foreigners are a rarity in the provinces. But even in the smaller cities or out in the sticks it never really happened. I believe that you have to be more patient in the outback as things don’t happen as fast there. Not for me anyway. But my days are numbered so I can’t wait a couple of years before I’m noticed.
I moved to Manila. I actually thought I’d have more opportunities there casting a wider net.
I was now completely invisible.

I have seen an extra appendage on a Filipino’s hand in real life. Perhaps, an older 50+ “single spinster” lady is either just too unattractive, very short or has an extra appendage in an awkward place. But I think you are right, there has to be a very good reason why an older woman is childless and single. A man would be wise not to entertain thoughts of being her knight in shining armour coming to her rescue.

If she is of still child bearing age, she will most surely want to get preggo (regardless if you want or not, that irrelevant) to lock her claws into you. If you want a nice young one that doesnt have children...do you really want one at 60+ ?! b/c most assuredly, she does. My lady is only 23 & at my age of 72, I have no illusions of her attraction for me. She is relatively uneducated, an orphan, and I believe, just taking the chance that has been offered to her. In all honesty, as a man, if you don’t have minimal game in the West, you’re not going to do well overseas. You need to have basic man skills like confidence, stoicism and the ability to see red flags in women. Women in the Philippines are really not much different than in the UK. I am also a 60+ American looking for a Filipina but have never been to the Philippines thus far but I am on a few Filipina dating sites and have had little luck so far. The young girls live on their phones 24 hrs, and u can never have a intellectual conversation or anything about current events. Its the same here in the West (Germany in my case). Its always about money in the end. I´ve been married&divorced twice, in my midsixties, well to do, had girlfriends/Relations with women from 20+ countries. but ... everywhere you go its basicly the same. I for my part try to see both side´s motivation. And as soon as it gets abusive I am done. Next. And I don´t see I could´nt pursue that until I die. I do have a very reliable base here in Germany, reliable but paid for network for years and years so I just make sure I am never going to run out of money. And my network knows they can always rely on that. Why should a Thai,, Philli, Viet, Brasilian, Colombian ... be thinking different? Only Japanese women are really in despair despite their hostile attidude in society towards foreigners. But THE hottest women women I ever got know were from Bosnia and IRAN! Anybody agree?

Love your videos and honesty and insights , i am closing in on 60 myself and living in TH and considering trip to PH next year to look around. I think a lot of what has changed is actually global with social media and narcissism which is a word that is often overused but in this sense i refer to the IG effect and online dating. It means many men are happy to send money to women now as they fall into the 80% of men in the West who get zero swipes from women who now only date 20% or perhaps 10% of available men online. A posh lifestyle is so heavily promoted by online women it would make Robin Leach blush.Western women severely overrate themselves while they struggle with obesity and plaster themselves with tattoos and buy pets. Eastern women have other red flags. In TH prostitution is so prevalent it bleeds over into society. Regardless there are good women but its not quite as easy as the average YT blogger makes it out to be and thats why i really enjoy your work. I still prefer not living in the West but thats just my opinion that the West has gone mad essentially.

Having had filapinas as clients of my welfare agency and doing counselling with over 500 clients I observed behaviours that indicated Borderline Personality Disorder and or significant Borderline traits. None of my 500 clients were capable of emotional intimacy. That would be even more pronounced now after the lockdowns

Emotional and physical neglect of the needs of children is rampant in the Ph, so this comes as no surprise to me. A lot them are stuck at the emotional/moral level of an adolescent, and are borderline, as you say, or on the anti-social/narcissist spectrum.

I’m 55 and date my own age. I’m fit and meet only women that are fit and active as well. Have zero issues. Yes, I was in PI in 2000 and had a different beautiful young woman almost every night, when I was young also and that was fulfilling. Maybe because I was promiscuous with and honesty is the best policy in my twenties and early thirties I need something with more substance now. And that fellas....is about as honest evaluation you will ever hear from an experienced older guy. I work in a laboratory as a Scientist. The crew here is several hundred. Eighty percent are filipinos. Worked with them for decades and know the culture farily well. These are the ones who were lucky enough to escape the land of extremes (as one of my coworkers painted it). Good video. The reality is that The Philippines is a Third World Country. That impacts everything. Many Passport Bros are delusional about that reality, thinking they'll land in the Garden of Eden, and Eve will throw herself upon them, trouble free. I met a young Filipina over there, 23 yrs younger (I was 48). Gorgeous gal. Second date ends up in bed, ready for action, I reached for a condom, and she said "I don't like condoms." Red Flag immediately flashing! Took the wind out of my sails as I processed her comment and the implications. I was so attracted to her that we continued dating, and I brought up taking birth control. Nope--she didn't want to, said she was worried about it "affecting her body." This is only a month after meeting, and it's clear that her goal is popping out kids, on my dime. She was laser-focused on getting pregnant, and we only knew each other one month. So your example of the gal wanting unprotected sex is familiar. Passport Bros need to know that they can easily be taken for a ride that never ends and empties their wallet. And the thrill of hooking up with dream body can turn into a financial nightmare.

I guess my experiences with the Philippines is different. My wife is from the philippines. She was a school teacher when we meet ant really looking to come to the States. We talked for over a year before getting married. She works really hard in the states. She has 9 brothers and sisters each of them with kids. There a strong emphases on getting a college degree and a good job. The family as a whole is well educated and works hard. Most working in foreign countries. Most of them feel they have to protect me when I go there. We traveled by there a few weeks ago for Christmas. I usually get a lot of attention when im out but no one hitting on me.

Having had 3 relationships with filipina, longest relationship was 10 years, I agree with you 100%, as long as you are an ATM and sperm donor, to provide someone with an Anglo-Saxon/Asian mix child things will be rosy. The reality is a foreigner will never be accepted as an equal in a relationship with a Filipina just a provider............. Currently in a relationship with a Thai woman, totally different dynamics there, I have a strong connection which surprise, surprise, is not focused on money or material gain, what do I put it down to, the people, religion has a lot to do with it. I've watched a fair few of your videos over the last 6 months or so, and with the best will in the world, I have to wonder to what extent are you getting back what you put out? I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just saying what I see as a viewer of your channel, based on what you chose to show me. Watching how you engage with people, listening to your complaints, observing your criteria and then looking at you as a person, your dating habits are very... for lack of a better term, vaginal. Listening to you talk about your struggles dating in the Philippines, whilst looking for an attractive 20 something intellectual who loves you for who you are as you filter your dating preferences based on cup size? It is very reminiscent of listening to a woman on Tiktok complain about how she can't find a man who is ambitious and successful both professionally and financially but isn't materialistic. How she wants a man who is steady consistent and reliable but also fun unpredictable and spontaneous. How she wants someone strong-willed and decisive but also flexible and open-minded. How she wants a realist who's romantic, serious but playful, confident but humble, horny but faithful and who is career driven but family oriented. It's like... you are throwing so many hurdles in your own way, the fact that you're having any success at all is a testament to how rampant the opportunities must be over there. Most "good Filipinas", which is a term I despise but let's roll with it, from everything I see and hear (from an admittedly outside perspective) they are looking for two things, marriage and children, and I believe you have stated numerous times that you have no interest in either, so I really struggle to understand what it is you're even looking for, because clearly whatever your definition of a "good Filipina" is, isn't the same thing most other people have in mind when they use that term. The more I watch your videos, the more it feels like you didn't actually go to the Philippines for women, but to re-find your youth through their gaze, and you don't like what you think they see.

@@BiggWorldCinema MUCH better than the Philippines. The premise of dating to marry is the same, minus the hustle, I'm not looking for a hookup, but a marriage. Indonesians are more conservative, so, generally ,no sex without matrimony - Muslim or Christian. There will be exceptions, no doubt, but chief end is matrimony and not GFE. I'm 62, meeting a 40 year old, divorced, Christian, certified educator, who has a tourist visa and a twin who lives in USA. I lowered my age range because I found that older Filipinas are settled and very bossy. They also have no skills or education to bring to the table. ALL older foreign women want you to come THERE and live. While women over 50 from all cultures want to be matriarchs (bossy). And you are right, they don't age well in most Asian places - unless they were professionals with money. But that's in all cultures. I saw one dating app scam posted from Indonesia. It was run by Chinese nationals.
