Good for you, Janice! I started online dating in my mid-fifties. I was single again, for 10 years, and met the love of my life just after I turned 60! I am now 77, he is 69 and we have been married for 13 years! In my case, at that age I felt I was still young enough to finally have a good relationship. I was very young in my first marriage, which was disastrous, but it gave me my two wonderful daughters. I married again only three years later, but he was an alcoholic. I found dating in Paris incredible. I decided to try it out in 2014 when I had two nights left in Paris and I had two dates for my last two nights and met a man I kept in touch with several years later. Through our connection, I started visiting more regularly and through him I met many more people and got to experience Paris on a different level. I LOVE French men.

Good for you,Janice…..I was badly let down 11 years ago….just after my 70th birthday….I realised I enjoyed my own company,meeting other people ….male and female ….to listen to music,go to concerts,have a coffee,chat. Dating is exclusive where I live,so I decided not to accept any invitations which might be misconstrued! I also have a group of workmen to help me maintain my home ….they do the job,get paid and there is no obligation! I miss my daughters too. One is coming to visit the week after next,so I’m excited about that and am preparing for our time together. That's the key Janice, don't get too invested right away. I had my heart broken super bad about five months ago. I tend to fall fast and hard. I'm working to slow it down and stop building 'the story' in my head before it happens. I don't want to remarry either, may or may not live with someone. Just don't know yet. So happy for you! I just found your vlog a couple days ago and am binge watching. I see you had two dogs but now have one. I also would like to buy your book when you have it published. You’re brave with your continuing to find someone through online dating. My husband died suddenly four years ago from a heart attack. We were married 54 years so it’s been an adjustment. I am finally getting used to being alone. I have thought of online dating as an option but I’ve heard some horror stories and am hesitant. One friend dated a professional retired teacher, and when she decided they really weren’t compatible he began “stocking” her. I realize this may be the exception, but it still makes me hesitant to try that option. I am now 79 years old and certainly would consider someone my age or even a bit older. I am not interested in remarrying or living with someone. Like you, I would like to have companionship for dinners the theater etc. You said you’ve been part of dating apps for years. Isn’t that costly when you’re living on a budget or do you subscribe occasionally? Thank you for your vlogs…you are so energetic and interesting I am enjoying watching you especially learning more about France from your perspective.

So spring is giving birth to new dreams and aspirations! Wonderful! Janice, What kind of research are you seeking? I ask because I have a great love of history and the 1930s interest me in particular because so much was happening all over the world. The seeds had been planted 10-20 years earlier and then boom! However, their are many things that occurred prior to the US entry into the war, as I know you must be aware and I am interested in aspects that have great bearing on the buildup of Hitler and Mussolini’s power, which, of course, placed France and the French squarely in the middle. All organically though. French, Italian, English men but Universe doesn’t allow because there’s always a block for ne as to continue. Therefore, am happy as I am. So liberating. Since I’ve not had to pay taxes, I don’t know that much about it and I need to talk about something that I really don’t know anything about but what I’ve heard is you have a choice you do have to file taxes in France and in the states but you can choose, whichever is the lowest and pay that

I think setting a goal to get a certain number of subscribers is not nice. I don't think people want to be thought of as numbers. If you sell something and need to pay the labour costs and rent - it's a different story. Than you just sell X thousands of your merchandise. I was a little disappointed. Nice title, interesting ideas and than NO details (no stories to remember), but 1/3 of the video about your personal plans...
