Thank you as always Forrest. One of my teachers used to say the true meaning of samyama is to hold, like holding a small bird, not so tight you crush it but not so loose it flys away. Juuuust right. Thank you for expanding our understanding.

Wow! I’m first! Was just going to say, you are really exceptional Forrest. Have history with Sanatana Dharma, and/but so many of the folks I’ve met are guru victims, guru wanna bee’s, or just lost in fantasy realms. Meditating, per se, meditating, but,… certainly not in fact doing it as and for Patanjali’s directions and ends, to fairly revolting ends. I almost can’t believe I trust you. But I do. You’re a gift. Thank you.

I just painfully lost a relationship, and also got fired, and meditation has been extraordinarily helpful. HRV, clearing the chakras, and memorizing some of Ekhart Tolle's writings. Like all the pain has been flushing out moment to moment, and I feel almost ready to brush myself off and start fresh.

Can you please make a video on the Mind Awake Body Asleep state. Its very popular among the practitioners of the Gateway Tapes ( a meditation course). Also If you dont mind me asking, How fast can you reach Theat Brainwave State? Are you familiar with the practice of planting a trigger in this MABA state to reach theta instantly? I appreciate everything you do and thank you so much

by making it a lifestyle not just a skill set, and relax because its always there and always will be. Its a balance between becoming dogmatic with ritual and just incorperating a healthy practice. I learned a lesson by becoming dogmatic with intermitteneent fasting and going to the gym. I dropped like 70 pounds in less than a year, and it was great. But then it became I could not miss a day because I would get great anxiety, and it was because I became dogmatic with it. So, I started randomly taking days off, purposely breaking my fast too at least once a week. I deploy the same tactic with meditation.

Hi my name is Matt, and I have a quick question regarding one of your books. I have the first one and I’m trying to learn the hamsah meditation, I need help understanding letting the breath in passively, because whenever I try to do it it feels As tho I am still guiding the breath, or I am the one breathing still, how do you learn this conscious passivity of breath? I let the exhale out but I cannot let the inhale come in on its own accord I end up just breathing in and out again. Is there a secret? Is there some kind of trick? Hopefully you know!! Thank you Forrest for your time I hope to hear back from you soon
@ForrestKnutson2 ай бұрын
@@mattyiso5150 hi Matt, I wouldn't do it that way instead I would recommend you do HRV resonance and say the Mantra at the same time this will give you the very best results very quickly. You can download the resonance breathing app🙏🪷

Forrest 🙏 Not long ago I experienced a dream. In this dream I saw Sri Anandamayi Ma. She displayed to me 2 things, her ecstatic bliss and also her lower portion of her body being full of decay. I have some ideas and feelings about this but I'd be curious to know your thoughts and opinions. Also, some weeks before the above mentioned I was falling asleep but not all the way asleep. I had a vision/dream of my energies shooting up from the base of my spine and exploding unexpectedly but pleasantly through my 6th and 7th chakras. I would appreciate your thoughts on this as well. Since I came across your channel well over a year ago, read your most recent book, and completed 2 of your trainings it has helped to align me with a practice that feels right in my mind, body, personality, and soul
@ForrestKnutson2 ай бұрын
@@justingoforth8350 MA might be hinting to you not to over ignore your lower nature... When the energy shoots up into the brain that's okay. I only discourage doing it on purpose with your breath over and over again because this tends to create problems.
@justingoforth83502 ай бұрын
@ForrestKnutson it's interesting you say this. More deeply over the last month I have been more in touch with my primal urges and tendencies, feeling more deeply in my root as well as my senses. As a result I'm noticing more integration within myself of all the parts of me. There's a greater sense of authenticity in accepting who I am. I've also been pretty tenacious with Om Jappa and Navi 😉. Thank you Forrest 🙏 It helps having some confirmation.

Dont be needy, holding it tightly is showing the universe neediness. One of the biggest life lessons I see, is the universe does NOT reward neediness. And I see a major similarity between just male and femal nature. So, even though I am only a minute into this, I already think I see where the title is coming from. lets see! thanks Forrest!
