I have been practicing kriya yoga for an year now. I take 2 breaths every minute. The technique is simple. Fold your tongue, push the tongue to your upper palate. This will semi close your epiglotis. That will make you take the deep breath. I inhale and exhale deep though. It feels so calming. I do this all day and everyday as suggested by my guruji. Good luck. AUM 🙏

Thank you Forrest ji. I really wish more people find your channel. For me was like understanding exactly what was happening to me. (I remember I was doing my first meditation with a group meditation I found on the net when Pandemic time, and a lot of things happened to me in that session, that I was unable to understand and even I became very scared about meditation) then I found you and was like receiving a yogini certificate 😅 It was the understanding on how our system works that makes me to feel we should be taught/train with this knowledge in childhood, our lives would be easier.

if u add the "inner smile" from Tao before you start to do HRV, it relaxes ur body and mind and puts them into a very pleasent state. If i do HRV after inner smile, my body and mind gets sooooo relaxed just as i was meditating for like 30 minute. Hope you give it a try

Forrest, I am very grateful for all your videos. This one is a great summary. You are a God-send. Question: I have read that very short meditations are more "efficient" than long ones. What is the best length of time for me to target/ I have gone longer than an hour, but was not sure that I was fully aware and awake during it all. Thank you.

Amazing explanation Guruji. I have starting doing the same sequence as you have mentioned. MM-->Navi-->HRV--->SVS-->4P-->Om Japa--> Cutebaby and/or Hakalau. I just love this meditation process and every day (almost) I want to wake up in the morning and yearn for more in this process.

Just a thought to share. When you were talking about the freeze response, it made me think of it. I think a lot of this has to do with sensory fatigue. Think about olfactory fatigue, where you stop smelling onions in the kitchen or something like that. When our nervous system is exposed to a continual stimulus, it turns it off after a while. It works for all of our senses the freeze response I think is this sensory fatigue syndrome. As well as the chanting. The repeated chanting if it is steady, will become something that the nervous system our brain will cost to disappear. At that point we will have reached the thoughtless state.

I heard someone say the consciousness that humanity has is the work of thousands of Yogis that came and left before us. It is our responsibility to give back to the Universe from which we have taken so much. Once you reach there, it will be your job to continue the work of those Yogis and Rishis, and do what you can. Is this true?

Funny! You would call it if I'm, so when I am having trouble getting into the center. I actually just vision like a crazy amount of little light burst and I'm basically straffing the area with a bunch of tiny little bombs.. and then this helps me find the more specific part here. I found this out by trying to work on a muscle cramp and that couldn't get it. So I got pretty pissed off and just decided that I was doing tighten up as hard as I could. Didn't work. It actually just stayed tight. So I repetitively tighten it as hard as I could as fast and It worked really well...

I have very powerful sensations arise when doing HRV and BPV breathing. So powerful I feel I might fall out of my seat. It always begins when I do the breath hold for the BPV. Powerful energetic tingling and body twitches rise up, body feels rigid, hands feel hot and I lose awareness of the boundaries of fingers interlaced on my lap. If eyes open the visual field gets brighter with twinkling lights. Eyes closed has abstract patterms appear. It feels so powerful that I'm afraid I will fall out of my seat so I exhale the breath hold and it dissipates. Is this normal.

You would never be able to get all of our ancestors in the cars driving..... That alone would be it...... Only wonder why so many people have PTSD? You know it should be a real warning. Sign when that's literally a disease that was come about from war fatigue. Amazing enough if you have it, guess what they do in the military, take you out of the fight. But no no not in normal society, theu know enough during a war that if you have these symptoms you need yo heal and cannot fight. But in america you better get up and do it again. Our society should NOT have us all getting a disease that was only recognized first as some particular to WAR! A great deal of us have symptoms from the build up and no specific event. Yet here we are....... Its pretty disgusting, just extra steps to take care of your basic needs while robbing you the entire way.

Forrest . If anyone had truly ever did these practices correctly we would all know about it. So to say go go go inside of yourself but then go have a nother being tell you how they got inside. Well sir, can you see the hypocrisy of that in itself? To follow a lineage defies logic. Skip the man and go direct to the source. Words words words. Find God. The only goal
