It sounds perfect hearing from other people but when you are in the middle of the situation yourself its hard! I love the fact that I after 1 yr and half my husband and I still argues like there is no tomorrow and still cant get over hoe much I love him. God is good in so many levels that it amazes me when He asks the men to love his wife like He loves His church and to the women to submit to her husband and still get hurt over this love every day. Love is forgiveness and so much more like it says on I Co .13 that you can turn around and around and find every excuses in the whole world to try to ease yourself from give in but at the end you only loving your perfect "self". God is so amazing that He still loves me so much even after I hurt, cheat and forget him with my sins!

Lorena Fonseca Valente Well Jefferson Bethke himself has said in one of his video that when the husband and wife OR girlfriend and boyfriend together focuses on God,he sees to it that their relationship lasts stronger even through hardships. Have faith. And may God bless you two to find the love that brought you together in the first place.

Joshua G Exactly! Nicole needs to read the Bible so she can see what an abomination she's being. Never compromise the Word of God to fit your life style. Leviticus 20:13 "If a man has sexual relations with a man, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

you see when you put Christ first everything falls into place and your hearts desires will be fulfilled.why go out looking for love when you can wait on God to reveal your adam or eve in his time and in his will? i want to get married and have children,but in the meantime i'm trying to draw closer and closer to Christ/ma'shiach,indulging in his word more and growing in godliness by the guidance of his RUACH(spirit).i know my future wife is out there somewhere and when i meet her there will be no doubt in my mind that this is who God has predestined me to be with.why would i be sceptic if i know this is who God has made me to be with? it doesn't make any sense.anyway, i pray that the spirit of God molds my wife into the women he has predestined her to be,strengthens her spiritually,physically and emotionally,continues to bless her and prepares her for when the time is right. forget going out there looking for love.God will reveal my rib when the time is right,in the meantime i'm chilling yo

yo phantom, I like your passion, and the dedication you have. I just want to warn you though, that us guys were made from dust, and creation got more and more complete and perfect as it went on. Also, marriage is hard work, even if you are with the one God has destined for you. She is still going to mold and shape you and show you things that you did not know or understand. 2 people becoming one, so pain, purification, and refinement are all expected to happen even more after marriage. Your soul mate will help you (both) draw closer to God.

Ian Blair i appreciate everything you've said brother,i'm guessing you're married.i understand that we were formed from the dust,nobody is perfect and marriage isn't a fairytale.i also understand and fully appreciate the fact that marriage is hard work,it takes both parties to make it work and the women will bring out things in the man that he didn't know existed and the man will bring out things in his wife that she didn't know existed and this is part of the reason i want,or should i say cannot wait to get married. meeting the women,or the rib of my ribs that God has predestined for me before the foundations of the world is going to be awesome,i honestly cannot wait and though marriage will not be a walk in the park,i know with Christ at the forefront and both of us filled with his RUACH(spirit) everything will work out for the better and fall into place.trust me brother,when the time is right,i'll be ready and i know my wife iwll be to.this is my daily prayer. God bless you brother

For the Right Reasons goes behind the scenes of ABC's megahits The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and into the private life of the shows' most captivating leading man. After two intense seasons on primetime's most popular reality shows-culminating in his fairytale wedding to Catherine Giudici Lowe finally bares the secrets of life in (and beyond) the spotlight. His gripping tell-all uncovers: the backstage drama that fuels The Bachelor and The Bachelorette the personal struggles and Christian faith that have made him the man he is today how he overcame heartbreak to find his true love the keys to pursuing purity in the cynical, sexually charged Hollywood culture ...and much more In the end, Lowe found that good does win, that truth brings deception to light, and that "nice guys" do ultimately finish first.

Cha! this is non sense Did I just heard Catherine right? talking about she doesn't like her husband sometimes? this is foolishness If I was truly in love with my hubby I would never say I don't like him common on now..maybe she was just joking lol. But yeah what I don't understand is why is it Sean & Catherine have become the King and Queen of Bachelor's show? What happened to Desiree and Chris? Those two their love are so amazing! I don't know why we don't hear too much about them, Every where I turn around is Sean & Catherine...I don't have nothing against them and I truly wished them the best but I would love to hear about Desiree and Chris too, Im just saying.

Whatttttt, come on! There are times that I really don't 'like' my husband, but no matter what I still love him. Their point was that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows and happy feelings. Sometimes love is much more intentional. Sometimes love is hard. Marriage and that commitment is a choice that we make every single moment of every single day. If you've disliked something your husband says or does, then kudos, but y'all must have superpowers!
@taytaytaylorj

I complete understand what they are saying... You love your parents and siblings to bits, just love them and would do anything for them but there are times where they are bothering you and they've made you upset and you can't stand to be around them... It's the same exact thing except in the instance of marriage, there is that level of intimacy involved that sort of ups the ante in this analogy.

When she said sometimes she doesn't like him it meant sometimes she is temporarily annoyed or mad or whatever it may be at him. But regardless she loves him. It is totally normal and actually more real to be in love with someone but at times not like what they are doing, or saying.

It's disheartening to me that Jeff would choose to talk to and showcase a couple from a TV reality show that is notorious for divorces. Instead, it would have been much better to interview an older married couple from his church family that can speak about how much the gospel has shaped how they love each other. But I guess that wouldn't have gotten as many views. Those who don't have faith in Christ CAN have a good marriage, but Christian or not, when a marriage is strongest, it is a hearty display of the gospel. In lieu of this, it is helpful and right to focus on the gospel and its implications for a healthy relationship and those who have intentionally used the gospel as a model to shape their marriage.
@chrisbessey358
@chrisbessey358 9 жыл бұрын
Kind of yes, and kind of no. But I think if you were to read my comment, you'd understand why. A healthy marriage, Christian or not, is a display of the gospel. It's most helpful to get a couple who explicitly understand that.
@chrisbessey358
@chrisbessey358 9 жыл бұрын
And again, romantic earthly love, defined in the gospel, hinges upon marriage. If we get this wrong, we get everything wrong. And it's hard to hear from contestants from a show that are known to crank out divorsees (though I hope that is not the case here!).

***** I will commence listing the end of every single Bachelor season that ended in proposal. The ones I don't list did NOT end in proposal: *Season 2*: They broke up after several weeks. *Season 3*: Schefft and Firestone broke up after several months but remained friends. *Season 6*: Velvick and Delgado split after five years. *Season 10*: Horst and Baldwin called off their engagement one month after the finale, but continued their relationship. They broke off the relationship in September 2007. *Season 12*: Grant and Lamas broke up in July 2008 as they felt their lives were going in different directions, but stated they would remain close friends. *Season 13*: On the season's finale, Mesnick had called off the engagement with Rycroft, and resumed a relationship with runner-up Malaney. Rycroft later appeared on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars and is now married to Tye Strickland and has two children. *Season 14*: They ended their relationship in June 2010. *Season 15*: Womack and Maynard broke up while their season was airing, but got back together after the show's finale. However, they called it quits for good in May 2011 but remained friends. *Season 16*: Flajnik and Robertson originally broke up in February 2012 while their season was airing. However, they were later reconciled and got engaged for the second time, but broke up again in October 2012 for good. All the proposal seasons of the Bachelor before Sean and Catherine (the most recent completed proposal season: 17) ended in divorce. (Source: Wikipedia)

Love do not includes acceptance (Satan is very subtle, isnt he?). Love includes obedience. John 14:15-31 "If you love me, you will obey what I command." ..and if you want to use logic, just look at your genitals and tell me if they are compatible with a person of the/your same sex it is not obvious that homosexuality is not from God? It is a result of the fall of man.
