In Southern Brazil some older people have this same concept of “promaja”! My mom used to tell me to not let the window and doors open when going out of the bath cause it could cause serious health problems and facial paralysis.

Honestly... I do not know about that. I am from Serbia as well but I am not scared of "promaja". But on the other side, while I do not have medical proof what happened, there is a story that my mum got her facial nerve paralysed cause of promaja and doctors had to intervene and shorten her nerve which causes her chin to have small hole in it like the cheeks when someone smiles each time she blinks. Was that their conclusion that it was promaja or actual medical proven fact I do not know. But again I personally have no fear of promaja and I love it. And never had any problems cause of it and it is constant in my home especially spring and summer.

So not my finest experience with Hungarian people, Regards to Hungary.Travelling back from Serbia I met on the central station in Budapest a Hungarian who lived in Sweden and could help me how to reacht the airport with the underground, very nice man indeed. Which is good thing, why to live in false identity that wasnt free choice of your ancestors. There are couple of muslim Serbian families living in Sarajevo (i know one family like that), and through out Bosnia too. They never forgot their true identity, even tho they are muslims today. Ofc, much more of those cases inside Serbia itself, as muslim Serbs in Bosnia tend to get on side of Bosniaks because of the same religion, and with time, system erases their identity (that they remembered until recently). There is actually funny thing about promaja. Our ancestors, after crossing Albania in WWI, when they arrived in greece and morocco, there was one thing that happened. Our allies couldn't comprehend how that nation that fought like 50 times bigger enemy and everything, are scared of wind. Damn

Yeah but no. Not the same. My parents are from Bosnia and I live in Germany. No one cares about a Zug. In the Balkan promaja is the personification of evil. You‘ll „die“ within minutes.

I'm a Serbian woman dating (obviously) a Serbian man. This is 100% true. Our men are traditional, gentlemen, protective, tall and handsome, family-oriented (after 30 :D), love to party and drink rakija. As a nation, we are very proud of our ancestors and the fact that we always stood up to defend our homeland even when we were attacked by much stronger armies. The only pet peeve of a Serbian person is somebody insulting their history or culture. Other than that we are very relaxed and welcoming towards foreigners. You need to make a video with Serbian women also!

If you are living in Serbia then it's perhaps obvious that you are dating a Serbian man, but do you know anything about those Serbs in general who moved to foreigner countries? Are they still looking for a Serbian partner in most cases? By the way I am Hungarian in England and never once cared about discovering the Hungrian community here. :D
