Sir I have 2" datnoid inside a megabox container ( grow out tank) tried feeding pellets, and put bloodworm in a cone still not eating in 3 days. gaano kaya sya katagal umabot ng 5" para maisama ko sa aro tank 11-12 inches ?

Hi gudpm sir ask ko lang sinubo kasi ng it ko yung fish na kasama niya. Hindi naman nya nalunok kasi malaki. Tinanggal ko ngayon after nun ayaw na bimalik yung mouth nya. Lagi nakalabas. Babalik pa kaya mouth nya sa dati? Thanks

How to pellet train datnoids? I tried starving it for a month, still not interested in eating pellets

there are people who plant pellets inside sliced shrimps... but there are really hard headed dats (esp. those diets used to be live food) and would just not take pellets at all... good luck

Glassbox420! I have another question for you about datnoids. Also, another that I asked previously but I cant find your response. First, what type of dat could I keep in a 125 gal tank? Lastly, can I keep an indo datnoid, a jaguar cichlid and another fish and/or some silver dollas? Thanx.

Hello there again... a 125gals can house any species of datnoides but would be limited to just one considering its adult size... if you opt to have more than 1, american tigers or NTTs woupd be more preferrable since they do not grow so huge and their attitude is more docile than ITs... as for tank mates, i really am not a fan of jaguar cichlids... silver dollars are just fine so long as the sizes are big enough... good luck and happy fish keeping

Ganda gabi boss.ask q lang IT fish q,almost 1 week na pero ayaw kumain.tinitignan lang niya mga ibinibigay q food like pellets,live insect.parang naghahanap ng live fish.dapat ko ba bigyan ng live fish or continue ko na gutumin? Salamat

Hello sir, if ang diet nya before was feeder fiah, medyo matagal tagal bago kumain ng ibang food yan... also, bago ba sya sayo? If so, just give it time to adjust... kakain din yan... good luck

@@glassbox4203 yes sir kaka bili ko pa lang sa kanya.kita ko na masyado siya syress dahil dark na dark ang kulay niya.now nag uumpisa na siya mambully ng mga oscar ko.malaki na kasi siya sir.mga 11 inches na din.kanina kumain siya ng prawns.better ba na alternate ko pakainin then gutumin ulit? Maraming salamat sa tulong mo sir.be bless

Hello, from what i experienced they target eyeballs of injured/ sick (with cloudy eye) fellow datnioides...

@@glassbox4203 I’ve lost two fish due to them getting their eye 👁 ripped off and I read another post on another video that the same thing happened to them and I never mentioned it… I was just wondering if Datnoids do sneaky attacks in the dark… oh yea the two fish were arowana and rocket gar

Goodmorning sir. Sana mapansin po etong post ko. Sobrang nognog po kasi ng dats ko. 75gal po tanke ko. Aro 13" saka bichir ksama ng dats ko. Pero sobrang nognog pren po dats ko. Nabili ko po un sa tropa na galing sa bully kala ko pag sa tanke ko na magstable na pero hndi pren po pla. Sana matulungan nyo po ako. Salamat

Hello sir, bigyan nyo lang po ng time maka adjust sa tank nyo... normally, once adjusted naman na sya ay magiging stable naman... and alaga lang po sa water quality... good luck
