What makes this channel so great is how illustrative it is. So many other channels have the uploader just gabbing about what they did or what they accomplished. This channel shows the business with helpful text additions to further explain what is being shown. Thank you very much for uploading this and the other content.

+heymisterderp a good channel should be entertaining, helpful, or both. I think most channels are neither. I don't know how to be entertaining, so I'll stick to trying to be helpful :) Once I get the car back up and running, we'll have more fun for sure!

First off I absolutely love your channel. I'm doing a similar resto-mod to my 76' 280z and these videos have been critical in guiding me through these necessary procedures. You are considerably detail oriented which reminds me to slow down and enjoy the build process. Cheers man! Keep up the good work!

That's fantastic, glad to hear! Haha I do seem a little neurotic at times, but it's the journey, not the destination, y'know? I just find it more relaxing to be slow, methodical, and meticulous when it comes to working on the car, rather than taking a whole bunch of short cuts under a deadline to get it back on the road. Best of luck with your build, and keep in touch!

Great tips! Thanks! Never thought of wrapping twice in two directions to improve bonding.

+Nicholas Bennington thanks Nick! I recommend getting the heat resistant cloth wrap tape instead of just rubber electrical tape. Last thing I want is the wires getting burned through and doing this all over again.

Min - where did you source all your connectors? Were you able to find all of them from a single vendor. Was the air flow sensor available and you just didn't need it. Nice video - as usual!

You can find pretty much all the plugs that you see here and more at zcardepot.com and thezstore.com. Shipping gets expensive, so I usually buy these small little parts when I'm ordering big stuff anyway. I think Amazon might also have these plugs for really cheap, but I can't attest to the quality of them. Search "Bosch Fuel Injection Plug 280Z" and you'll find a lot of results.

That's fantastic. In that case, I'm sorry that my progress is so slow! I only have some time on the weekends to work and make videos =(

That's absolutely fine. I had a problem with my car starting up. So your videos helped with the fuel injectors replacement. I just hope that my wiring harness is still ok. I went ahead and replaced all the plugs. 10+1+1 in total. I got new injectors too and all new flexible lines. Never really gone this far into a car before. Fingers crossed.

+visualideas sounds like we're in the same boat! I will be starting my car up again soon too. Make sure you check the timing of the distributor as well.

Google injector cleaning services, you should be able to find them easily. Its a mailing service, you just send in your injectors!

Dont know if they would make much of a difference really, not much water should be getting to them, but the jell filled ones are nice, but cost about twice as much, I used to use them in Communications work, we used to get them 10,000 at a time in 5 gal buckets, I should of taken a gal worth home, would of lasted me 30 years, to late now !. I kept my old injector plugs, they are in good shape, good seals and all. Kinda like the metal clips, seems to have a better hold tight fit. The press and remove seem to wobble just a little. Are you gonna use the tri layer metal gasket on the head.
