are you using a stock 5.3 oil pan? i have a 280z with a 5.3 and I shortened it a couple inches for clearance. great build btw, really good looking work!

ConquerAbsolute it will have a Holley 302-3 pan. It sits about even with the bottom of the crossmember. I found a company making the same pan but $100 cheaper than Holley. TSP 81075 Retro-Fit LSX Aluminum Rear Sump Oil Pan W/Added Clearance. Also added a trapped door baffle to the sump to try and stop any oil starvation during cornering.

Johny are you going to try and fab up some kind of air box or heat shield with and ducting to keep it isolated from all the heat in the motor?

Bruce Bianchi wrapping the headers and crossover tube with header wrap. Gonna find a t6 turbo blanket. As far as intakes go I haven’t thought about it yet. The power steering pump is going to need some kind of shield. I’ve heard that gold tape helps but not sure how much it helps.

Johnny Fabz gold tape does help but isolating them helps even more especially if you can create some type of induction (ram air) into the turbo. Also when it comes time to put the hood on I would also cut some holes in it and put a raised lip in front of them this will create vortices that helps pull heat out and over the car. You’re definitely going to be battling engine temps with this set up unfortunately depending on what you’re doing with it. I would definitely try and create some way to isolate the compressor intake if I were you.

Where did you get your flares? Are they 280z flares? Samething for your front body, where and if it's for 280z? Do I need to do anything to make em fit there

NotBubble ̼ they are regular zg fiberglass flares. Don’t fit the best as they aren’t made for a zx
