I didn’t realize Annie was so big, but when she was with that little cutie at the window, the little boy was dwarfed by Annie’s size. That shocked me. Sweet Annie does love little ones and I love how she interacts with the kids! 😃❤️

It's very touching. I know of a case when in a zoo somewhere in Europe a boy fell into an enclosure with gorillas, received a concussion and lay helpless. Then the male leader of the gorillas approached him and guarded him from other gorillas until the rescuers got the boy. Gorillas are very intelligent, even though they are wild animals...

Annie always loved the children even when she was little she would always go up to the windows outside & play with them. She will definitely make a wonderful mama. Love our Annie 💕 🦍 ❤️

Thank you, J Z, for this wonderful depiction of Annie. I love how she touched the child’s hand through the glass. She is intelligent, too: I noticed her using a twig to dig out the treat. I hope she is given the opportunity to become a mother. Her qualities are too precious to be allowed to die out. Preferably with Gentaro as a mate? But she would have to insist on his good behaviour!😂

Sweet Annie.. she is such a beautiful soul and so intelligent. She definitely one of my favorite girls. I am still holding out hope for a match with the eldest Momotaro boy.. who knows but they would be gorgeous together.

Fascinating. I wonder how she would strat the boy if they had actual physical contact? There is an Aspinall video of Aspinall's wife Victoria being hugged by a male gorilla in the jungle. He seems to fall in love with her. He was very gentle and even "stole" her baseball cap and put it on himself.

I myself could not have children,,, that’s why I’m always hoping that Ai, and all the other female gorilla’s I love and watch are pregnant I love babies.. (😂😂😂and why I have 3 fur babies 😂😂😂).. I hope that one day Annie may have a big troop 😊😊

I think that infants/small children are of interest to all primates... both male and female. There's a natural tendency to want to protect.

That is so precious. Yes, if given the chance, Annie will be a great mother, perhaps because her own mother rejected her and her a grandmother could be so vicious to her growing up. She knows what if feels like to be unwanted, as well as, knowing what if feels like to be loved and protected by her wonderful father. 💕💕🦍❤️

Very true! I also feel like Kiyo's love for her definitely helps, too. When they get along, he showers her with affection, searches her face with genuine eye contact, like he's interested or curious in how she's feeling. (I'm not a gorilla behaviorist so I could be completely wrong and I'm probably equating them to our feelings far too much.) But back to your beautiful post, she would be a phenomenal mommy.❤

It's been debunked, they have an agreement to exchange information on the breeding of Gorilla's. PLEASE STOP SPREADING RUMOURS. The videographer said it was speculation. Nancy from Dj troop videographer shut down that rumour months ago. People got hysterical when he made that statement, including me.

Aun con el ruido molesto de la gente que habla en voz alta y con la alergia que no la deja tranquila Annie sigue siendo tan dulce y tranquila como siempre. En Estados Unidos tienen ecoparques y grupos de solteros. Por ejemplo Frank y Monroe. Ojala la trasladen para que viva en semilibertad y pueda tener a sus bebes.

I know you cant trust gorillas completely. You never know if they would turn on you, even in a zoo. But I bet you if that little boy was to accidently get inside the enclosure, Annie accept him.
