@@Lspacehopper The original is amazing. Yet I still think Chris did it better. If you've heard Lewis sing live his music is right to the edge of his ability - he's not that gifted as a vocalist. He' amazing because his writing is amazing, and he uses every bit of his vocal ability, which the song is tailored too (advantage of writing your own songs). Chris is just a much better vocalist and does everything Lewis does, but it' so much easier for him that his live performance doesn't show all the flaws Lewis does when he can't hit or hold the notes.

I am actually glad he DIDN'T win American Idol. It seems he has gotten more exposure because he didn't win. Most of the people who won American Idol, Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, etc., you don't hear of anymore. Chris seems to have gotten more opportunities. He's actually sold quite a bit of records WITHOUT being a winner of American Idol.
