I love the woman being described in this song. Dangerous yet merciful. A woman who's been hurt and got over it, and became a lioness yet she sought no revenge. Could totally relate to that, when people wrong you and you're eventually in a position to cut them down to size but you hold no ill feelings or desire to hurt them. However unlike the guy in this song, most people wouldn't humble themselves and appreciate the mercy given to them.

My second comment, following 200 listens after the first, with each time I relate to every word. After immense friction and difficulties, after 7 years of marriage, my wife and I have worked through it all and are really really happy now. Her transformation to a lioness was indeed an important part of that which helped (forced? lol) me stay clear of shitty life decisions.
