Darazuya TG To me it sounds like a pessimist to a dreamer. The guy wants to do great things and has huge larger than Life plans to change the world. The pessimist says "who are you to change this world silly boy. No one needs to hear your words let it go.". Basically telling him he'll never make a difference or that he isn't good enough. ( Also the part in the beginning sounds tied in as well. ( " All my life they let me know just how far I would not go."). But eh that's just my interpretation.

This hits my childhood top dead center. I joined the Army as soon as I turned 18 (to escape an alcoholic physically abusive father) and went into field artillery. Knowing I would be challenged mentally and physically I figured it's me or I puss out back to the norm. I gave it everything, went to Desert Storm, came home and moved far from the past hometown and started over. Wife, 5 children, peace of mind, and has changed my personal world. I don't have a loud voice and often won't speak my mind because as a child and even now I am either straight up ignored or berated because of my beliefs and who I am. I wish I had the confidence and strength to speak up and not let them crush me but I can already see how much I've changed and how I've started to simply accept this treatment of me just to make them happy.
