Nice one. Just discovered this fun build myself today (or some form of it). For all those asking how he does it, it‘s a weapon talent on the axe that makes the behemoth take 75% of the damage the frost mark takes as wound damage. Combine that with the damage from the frost mark explosion itself and a big BONK from the axe special and you get this beauty of a video. It‘s basically virulent impact 2.0

I been getting big damage numbers from the ice axe myself but never this big! Could you let me know what perks you used in this build so maybe I can recreate a lesser version of it? Also does the landbreaker ability from the hammer do anything, from what I know when you swich weapons the buffs from the first weapon are removed. And do the pylons make a big difference?

Charge the big gauge bar with charged attacks and damage, then hit your special with the bar full to level up, each level gives u 25% dmg up to 75% at lvl4

You need to unlock the talent for lvl 4 first. Standard is only lvl 3. Don‘t know if it‘s a talent on all axes but at least on the ice axe it is

The hammer works like the Urska weapons. It makes an ice shield that interrupts and freezes behemoths that pass through it

Nothing compares to the old dauntless tho. It was more fun and we hit bigger numbers. We also didn’t have to stand around and just npc for 5-10 seconds just to get our big hit. You fought normally to start and then unleash the boom when you felt like your stacks were enough

I dont think its a bug per say, what it might be is the axe passive (the ice ball that shows up) might have been given some sort of damage multiplier and the devs made it multiplicative instead of additive. IDK tho. Probably wont stay for long lol
