Im glad to hear that theyre doing something to attempt to bring in new players & keep the game going. I 1st started playing Dauntless about 4yrs ago but it never was one of my go to & grind games. Now that I've gotten tired of Fortnite & Destiny 2,I've gotten really into grinding Dauntless.

Im actually so pissed about the new committed crown stuff because I've been grinding 10 reforges on every weapon...

@@swift_n_deadly I have 66 with all weapons combined, and my highest reforges on one weapon is 36 on chain blades.

Pretty sure I got baited into leaving a comment, but that's not a new glider animation... It happens when u are viewing someone with a buggy character model (usually t-posing with missing armor) just like in ur example.

Figured it wasn't new but wanted to bring attention to it so we can potentially make a case to get it as an actual animation.

i started playing 1 and a half years ago and i missed out on my first ramsgiving and now they arent doing it anymore

It was not a good event anyway so it was best for them to remove it.

Do you know when we will need the 70 reforges done by? I have 50 atm and not sure if it’s worth grinding to 70 if I don’t know how much time I have left. Would suck getting to 68 or 69 only to miss out last minute.

The Devs have not shared a garanteed release date yet but indicators are pointing to December 19th.

The reforge crown requirement change is kinda nice but they should have made it earlier xd The problem is that the amount of reforges you have on a weapon basically represents how much fun u have with that weapon, and 10 reforges on every weapon meant that for you to get the crown you had to grind on the weapons you dont like, and "cant" really play your favourites cause u have more than enough already. And I have been grinding 30+ reforges sice the announcement of the crown and now it was kinda for nothing also where did you find the requirement change because I couldnt find anything about it

I think getting a crown for 10 reforges on every weapon was more of an actual reward sine that would be because you completed the weapon buffs on the slayers path. I'm also fine with the alternative but since the game does not recommend that you reforge past 10 on any weapon that was more of a person choice we as slayers made but that still showed commitment so still a win in my book. The Devs shared the info about the change in the Discord and I think on Reddit as well.

I think the update will come on the 19th of dec since that will also be the last day for the stuff in the vault

@sinu9226 if all we get is what has been shared so far then maybe not but better we get little than nothing at all. I do hope they give us more after this first update though.

i just want to mention that the game is moving in a bad direction and no one talking about it for some reason ! by removing the ability to craft weapons and creating a new currency to buy them and you get that currency from the battle pass as a reward both free and from buying the battle pass also you can buy the currency by platinum and thats the problem we cant have weapons unless wait to get the currency from completing the battle pass and it wont be enough to buy most of the weapons which force a p2w situation buy forcing players to pay platinum rather than farm and craft the weapons . its a real shame that this simple change might kill the game and no one even noticing or talking about it !!!!!!

I respectfully disagree with you on this point. You will be getting the currency needed to get the new weapons pretty easily. First 7 are unlocked during quests and the 11 that will follow will get released in sequence and gives you time to get the currency to get them easily. The one weapon mentioned in the Hunt Pass say "immediately unlock" which means that there will be other ways to get it if you don't choose to get the Elite Hunt Pass (which gives you your platinum back btw)

@@swift_n_deadly i really hope you are right on this but in recent years every game keep adding more and more ways to force players to pay and i just lost all trust . but your channel has been a reliable source of info so am happy to to hear that .

I would be happy with good weapon skins... I would love to spend money on the game but there is just not rly a reason to do so.. weapon skins are so shit.. most of them and over the last years there is not really any new skin besides some skind that just look like a reskin.. just boring.. they have no cosmetic creators...

They did share more than a year ago that there will be no new cosmetics before the update drops.

I don’t know why they’re holding back reforge reward requirements, it’s an excellent chance to give a reason for players to come back and grind out in anticipation of the new update. I’m really excited for it but the marketing push, or lack there of, is really concerning me. I hope it’ll come onto steam with the update. I can finally use my switch controller without all the annoying workarounds! I hope steam will bring a wave of new players! get back on the streaming grind! Can I get carry please? 🥹
