Just for Laughs is in Montreal and even though most of them speak english, french is generally their first language. Can take some time to translate it. And frankly, if english isn't your first language, the subtleties of sarcasm are even tougher to pick up..

Dave is one of my favorite stand ups. He has incredible timing, delivery, is just crude enough, and has excellent control of the audience. For some reason, I feel people don’t consider him in the top 20 or so stand ups of all time. I feel like he absolutely deserves it.

he cut the joke short in this one. he said before "i do not want to, do you know why? because during a terrible gardening accident, a cucumber went up my ass 3 times, and i had to cry in the shower.", or "because once i sat on my keys the wrong way, and i had to cry in the shower".

he's used some of this same material before and it went better then. This audience sucked. He gave them as much effort as their minimal energy gave him motivation to do. Then he went in the back and got high and had sex with a midget and a gorilla.

Yes :p He used this event as a filler. :p The delivery was off on everything and I think his effort was lacking mostly because the audience sucked. When he said how are you all feeling most of the audience acted dead or asleep :p they didn't' say shit.

A master. The most underrated yet copied style of the 90s. Marc Maron & Patrice Oneal talked about it, they called it “the most comedy-babies,” with Attell having the most “babies” who lived off Attell’s style, followed closely by Seinfeld and Pryor, many others I’m sure I’m forgetting

The CERN Large Hadron particle Collider spits out a black hole in late 2022 and while collective efforts from scientists were able to shut the black hole down, their sciencing did result in a residual wormhole. Since then folks like me (and Brian Cranston, mentioned above) have been able to take vacations to the past, which is great because that black hole I was talking about really did a number on the northern hemisphere, and global warming related flooding took care of trashing what was left over. That said, my coastal, beach front property in Ohio is a nice, unexpected side effect of the whole ordeal.

I spent the first 5 minutes trying to figure out who it sounded like he was imitating accidentally ( something most comics do earlier in their careers) then I realized it was actually big jay oakerson that had picked up that speaking cadence from dave. If you watch his netflix specials, he speaks the exact same way
