Amazing. Loved Dave since the 60's, brilliant performer who had some really good songs. Excellent live too, so very sexy & such stage presence. Lucky enough to meet him & get pics with in Birmingham in '84. Really lovely guy. Thanks for all the music. X👍😃♥️👏🎶

I remember seeing Dave Berry at the Fairfield Halls (maybe with Freddie & the Dreamers?). His arms, hands, & microphone movements were his trademark. . The Crying Game & Little Things were the main two songs I remember.

Happy Birthday Dave Berry born on February 6, 1941. He is an English rock singer and former teen idol during the 1960s. His best-remembered hits are "Memphis, Tennessee", and "The Crying Game" (1964), and his 1965 hit "Little Things", a cover version of Bobby Goldsboro's Stateside top 40 success. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Berry_(musician)

In the Bob Dylan film "Don't Look Back" a drunken Alan Price (ex-keyboardist for the Animals) refers to Dave Berry as the human sloth. After seeing this performance I now understand.
@Deadly0022 жыл бұрын
Exactly why I came here too. Lo, Price was right. Should have done a double act -- Berry mimes slowly while Price smacks someone's piano with his beer bottle to open it.

I watched the film last night. Alan Price sure liked a drink back then but his pastiche of this song and piano playing is chuffin brilliant!

Little things that you do Make me glad I'm in love with you Little things that you say Make me glad that I feel this way The way you smile The way you hold my hand And when I'm down You tell me I'm your man You know I love those little things in my ear That you say when there's no one near Little things that you do Make me know that your love is true When we walk You like to hold my hand And when we talk You tell me I'm your man You know I love those little things that I hear Those little things you whisper in my ear I know there ain't nobody else like you No one can do the little things you do Little things that you do Make me glad I'm in love with you Little things that you say Make me glad that I feel this way The way you smile The way you hold my hand And when I'm down You tell me I'm your man You know I love those little things that I hear The little things you whisper in my ear I know there ain't nobody else like you No one can do the little things you do
