This was such an inspiring clip and 100% agree in the power of the Dreamer. I was the 7th born child of 10 children and after my father died from cancer when I was 11 years old, I was raised by a single mother. We struggled a lot as kids after the death of my father but I always believed that one day I would live my dream life. My dad taught me to value education and after he died, I knew that education would be my ticket out of poverty. I worked really hard in high school to accomplish my dreams of going to college as a first-generation low-income student. It’s 11 years later and I am a PhD candidate at an Ivy League university with over $670,000 in scholarship awards. I travel the world with my soul mate and I have so much peace in my daily life. I live this reality because it was once a dream. I was always told that I dreamed too big but now those same people ask me how I do it. Your dreams are possible and you have them for a reason. Dreamers are powerful no matter how society tries to paint them ❤

He's truly the best at what he does for a living. It'll take a while for the next stand up goat to come along. I grew up on Eddie Murphy and he was always my guy and thought no one could replace him until I saw Dave way before he blew up, and said this is the guy.

I saw this live. It was like laugh cry laugh cry laugh cry. Life changing though, the whole thing. Profoundly inspiring. Someone called “I love you” and Dave stopped mid sentence, turned back to the direction of that interruption and calmly said, “I love you too, man” and then made a funny ass joke about Lil Nas X. I’ll never forget it. And his ongoing Titanic joke…. 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here in vegas I know a man named Barryl. He started as the cook at Jack in the box over 15 years ago. He worked all the way up to district manager. Then 5 years ago the guy that owned all these JIBs decided to sell all of his, and offers them to his district managers and even helped them get the loans to buy them. That owner is rare. He actually gave his workers the chance to climb the ranks. In Texas I work3d for a man that started as a restaurant dishwasher and worked his way up learning every position in the back and his wife did the same but front of the restaurant. They saved up money and finally opened up they're own tiny little one and it eventually became the biggest one in that town and opened a couple other locations. Recently they franchised and have opened up a huge amount. It's called la casona in angleton Texas. They went from dirt poor immigrants to millionaires by working hard. They opened up a bunch more restaurants.

@@strixgaming4271 Go touch grass kid. Ive done my part, kids and grandkids. Support and love them all. One problem with the pretend Xtianity is nobody listens to the real Xtianity that does not give one flying flip about the rules of Leviticus. Or the word of the Apostles at that....they were not "holy" men and their texts were not chosen by God but by a group of men...very very VERY fallible and often quite evil men. Grow in Christ brother...know he doesn't care who I find comfort in and neither should you..

A lot of people think this is Dave's worst special, I'd disagree. He's getting older and was brought by a wonderful woman, so yeah he's a little wise. The storytelling alone is enough to captivate most, but the small jokes really sell who Dave is now.

Same thing happened with Carlin. His comedy evolved to include serious social and political topics and some people called him a whiny old man, but many believed humour was still top tier

I think it's a horrible "funny" stand-up. Half of the fucking video is spent on what a 14 year old would call "deep", and that story ends in a lame ass trans joke. Dave has gotten way too full of himself and forgot that the world doesn't revolve around him.

Dave is a personal friend of mine. He is one of the funniest guys out there. Not only that, but he is also one of the most humble people i have ever known. We've sat together for years writing material, and talking about stuff. He takes inspiration from everything. He may have turned down 50 million, but he gained more. Much more.
