Dave Chappelle Reveals Why Kevin Hart Is A Hollywood Mutt
Dave Chappelle is finally speaking out on rumors that Kevin Hart sold his soul for fame and Dave reportedly believes that Kevin would have never made it big if he didn’t agree to do some things he previously SWORE he’d never do…
Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart are both extremely successful comedians - however, unlike Kevin, Dave has been very outspoken about the dark side of Hollywood and all the ways he was screwed over by the industry higher-ups who wanted to control him…

For those failing to understand, one point of the many present is the manipulation behind the wearing of the dress. It’s essentially signing a subliminal contract and agreeing, “I will do whatever you ask me to do. You control me.” It’s a form of blackmail, basically implying if they don’t, their time in the spotlight comes to a screeching halt. It’s as arbitrary as someone up and coming as a successful business man, and suddenly, an agent shows up telling you to advertise a product that is against your morals and ethics, and if you don’t, your success somehow abruptly ends because of it. It may not seem like much at face value, but horrendous to think about in the context of being controlled to the point where one decision can essentially ruin your entire life.

The agenda is to immasculate the men of the US.. A beta male culture creates weakness which gives the "elite" more power over the people. A country full of feminine men will never stand up to power. They wont join the military, become fire fighters, etc, they wont protect women and children. This is their goal and they use public figures as examples. Yes. It used to be common for comedians to dress up as women. A couple of Martin Lawrence’s most famous characters on “Martin” were were Sheneneh Jenkins and Edna ‘Mama’ Payne. It was common for comedians then to dress in drag for bits, including Jerry Lewis and many others.

The actual reason cultural. Most content involving black men is hyper masculine. Dudes with rock hard abs and body or thugs. The image of black men rarely shows nerdy men or straight artistic men. We have traditionally only promoted/presented stereotypical square jawed masculine often tall men. Look back at every black romantic comedy and you will find the same basic idea. This makes the idea of black men in a dress so funny because the idea of a feminine Black man seems outlandish and impossible. We do a version of this for Black women who are known for being bold, confident, loud. So when we make a story of a Black woman beginning as a victim she was often portrayed as small and mousy until she stands up to her abuser.

I clearly remember when Dave was the biggest thing in the world, as well as how the media portrayed him as a lunatic when he walked away from Chappelle's Show. Always bothered me how they went (and still go) after him. Love Dave and his work. He reminds me of a modern-day George Carlin, with his social commentary-laced comedy and his willingness to tackle and joke about current topics, no matter how sensitive they are. The praise he gets from Joe Rogan and other comics is well-deserved.

To be fair to Kevin Hart, he never said wearing a dress was crossing a line. What he said was you have to know what your boundaries are and respect your brand. He never said that was out of bounds for him. As for him selling out, he's doing projects now that he wants to do through his production company and making great money. People are just jealous that they can't be in his shoes and make that kind of money. If you asked me to wear a dress for a stupid skit and i can then become wealthy, I'd ask to make sure they pick one that makes me pretty, then cry about it all the way to the bank after.

Indeed , it is easy to see why he was offered 50 millions for dressing like a prostitute girl. IT was not for "comedy" at all they wanted him to do that ,Instead it was because he is a major influential leader -comedian figure , that was highly respected by african black community. And so those very wealthy behind hollywood are on a mission to create and speed up a Far Left Liberal culture ,and so they recruit most influential celebrities ,to help them with that. It is also possible that they see David Chappel popularity and influence as something very dangerous for them , if for example he choose to join politics. So those 50 millions offer was the start of a long recruitment campaign ,to keep him out of politics and move him towards the far left fake culture movement. That's what is all about . There is a saying that even bad press becomes good because the message becomes tone def and normalized that what was once bad is now understood and accepted.. Its almost like, never hearing a gun shot in your neighborhood to over time hearing it everyday . at first, its frightening but as times goes by, the once frightening sound becomes less troublesome... How every special he makes all of a sudden people are trying to cancel him for things that anyone and everyone that watches those specials can clearly see couldnt be further from the truth, and how to this very day nothing he puts out is produced by a "hollywood" based company. The wisdom it must require to trust your gut feeling and intuition over a literal boat load of money being held over you is just one of the many things that set this man apart.

Yeah even in acting. If you're a nobody and you want to be somebody, you either cultivate it over years like Dave did or you just gotta accept roles you wouldn't want to do but need the cash cause you're broke. And even then it can take years. I don't even believe everyone that "sells out" even ends up getting big money/success, only the ones most loyal and who knows whatever else they're looking for (ie good looking, actually truly is funny/talented at their craft etc)

With all due respect it is so important that we don't slide into this sense of victimization. Boundaries are important. Nobody HAS to do something they don't want to do. You can want to do something unpleasant becuase it is "the right thing" or because it brings personal gain. And in an unjust society, a refusal to do something you don't want to do may incite reprisal and unwanted reaction, but it is still a choice. In this case, Dave does not want to be a pawn to Hollywood culture, even if that means missing out on opportunities, because he sees the destruction that the elitist mindset has on communities of color and young minds. Kevin Hart does want to be a pawn to Hollywood culture because he cares more about personal gain than the issues brought up by Dave. Values underlie will. Will dictates want/choice.

Dave wore a dress in my favorite movie of all time: Robin Hood Men in Tights. So I have no idea what changed. It was ok at first to get him started in his acting career (that was one of his first movies.) I can think of a lot of movies with men dressed as women, both black and white. (Mrs Doubtfire, White Chicks, Tootsie, Willow, and on and on and on.) In fact, just imagine what actresses go through being asked to do nude scenes! I feel like this entire situation has been blown out of proportion.
@mickeyl3171
@mickeyl3171 2 ай бұрын
I think a distinction Dave hasn't explicitly stated is that he won't dress like a woman if it's only him and/or if that's the whole joke. In Robin Hood Men in Tights the cross dressing is a ruse to break into the castle (which is originally from the source novel I believe) It was also a 'team effort', they broke in together and were all dressed up together. Subjectively, it also didn't feel like the 'joke' was that they were dressed as women either, the only joke I remember from those scenes are Blinken being told to fix his boobs cause he 'looked like a bleedin' Picasso' which is another blind joke rather than 'man wearing women clothes is funny'.
@trelane88

@@mickeyl3171 men dressed as women has been a comedy staple since civilization existed. Hell, in the olden days ALL actors were men. I'd bet that most big name male actors, be they black, white, or brown, have done a bit like that at some point or another. If Dave doesn't want to do it anymore, that's totally his decision, but trying to insinuate that it's a "black" thing to degrade him is a bit much. It's a comedian thing....and Dave is a comedian.

You missed the part about the money. It wasn't that he 'walked away from a 50 million dollar contract' it was that he already had a contract based on percentages of earnings, but the show was more successful than they thought it would be and his percentage of earnings had come to much more than 50 million so the network insisted on a whole new contract that would cap his earnings at 50 million while they were allowed to make however much they made. They would still be making lots of money, but they were obsessed with making sure he didn't make more than a certain amount to the point of shutting down the show if he didn't go along with the new ceiling to his own earnings.

Comedians universally belief is “tell the truth n make people laugh while doing it, regardless if people are offended or not.” As someone who used to be in LOVE with Chapelle, but now is balanced the difference between Chappelle n Hart is that Chapelle not afraid to say n or do something that’s “controversial” as to Hart. When has anyone recollected something that was or said by Hart that was “controversial” at the same time being truthful n getting a message out? That’s why Katt isn’t wrong when he said “Katt a plant” with all those movies he’s been in I’ve only liked “Get Hard” n that’s because Ferrell sold the movie.
