I live in Ohio. A little bit south from Yellow Springs. Dave is right. Yellow Springs is like an old hippie town. Super chill up there (lots of coffee shops and healthy stuff) so yes, the cop probably did overreact. Dave is the man though. Just another one of the guys.

I went to Wright State University (in Fairborn, about 15 minutes or so from Yellow Springs for those not from around here), and was once in a Poli Sci class where somebody explained they walked in late because they saw Dave on campus. And I was at that New Years party but left before the cops tried to break it up. Dave explained the place pretty well but I'm not sure the weirdness of the ball drop can be fully explained to anybody who hasn't visited. It's sort of slung over a clothesline in the middle of the street.

Did he or anyone else ask them to stop? hahah In Y. S. we like to let our children & animals run free!!! My dog would run away so many times!! One time the police came to my house & asked if I owned him & they said they had him at the station so they went & got him. The Officer said, "O.K. he had three milk bones & some water!!" I was shocked as hell because they said they called my mother & somehow they tracked HER down from my dog's license but I haven't talked to that bitch in a couple of years hahaha!!! That Yorkie was always gone...if the door was open he was OUT!!! He was like 4 lbs!!! If people would leave him alone, he'd come home!!! I'd put a sign up downtown, "Missing Yorkie." I worked at the movie theater at the Beavercreek Mall (Like half an hour from Springfield) And he would come in every now and again to see Matinees and it was never really a big deal. And one day I was working behind the concession stand and the usher came up with a $20 in his hand and said he needed a popcorn and some bottled water for one of the guests. And I was like, dude you know were not allowed to bring guests stuff in the theater or accept money when they're not present. But he said, man it's for Dave. And I was like, OK cool, I'll give him some extra butter and salt (cause it's better that way) but you gotta let me walk it in there to him too, and he said sure. So we walked their food into them. It was Dave and some friend of his. And I'm not saying they were high..... But they were high..... :-) Like high as shit :-) and we give them their food and they say thanks and then my friend the usher goes to hand him his change, and Dave says No keep it. And then Dave reaches his hand out and shakes my friends hand and says thanks again. So we leave the theater and my friend says "I think he gave me a tip when he shook my hand" and he opens his hand up and there's like 100 bucks in 20's and 10's. My friend gives me 10 bucks of it and keeps the rest. And I said "Hey I should get half, I carried the stuff and broke the rule to sell him stuff in the theater" and my friend says, "Yeah, but I was the one talking to him, noticed he was high as shit and suggested he get some popcorn and water" and I said, yeah, that's fair, you get the bigger tip. That's my true Dave Chappelle story. EDIT: I also used to work at the Beavercreek Best Buy, and we would see him come in there every now and again too. He held the record for the largest gift card bought for that store. The story was that he wanted to buy a friend of his a new TV (This was at the time DLP's were just starting out and were REALLY expensive) and a sound system and Blu-Ray player (Blu-Ray players were new too and super expensive) but he couldn't decide what to get his friend, so he whips out a Black Card and just buys a $5,000 gift card to give his friend. That's my other true Dave Chappelle story.

Corporal Unger Damn that Netflix money is some good shit lol. And I'm glad Netflix gave him the 60 mill. Lol and sounded to me like his wife REALLY regretted him not getting the money.

@Jason React You know why he walked away, right? He was supposed to get at least 6x's that much. They reneged on the original agreement and they wanted more control over the content of the show. Off to Africa! I just can't believe all the lies that were told about him. I don't blame him. He felt that was the place to go where he wouldn't get mobbed by people. I imagine they treated him well and with respect. I would have loved to be there to see his comedy skits there if he did any. We missed out big time no doubt.
