Jose, This is one of the better recounts of the Chicago 1968 Yippie festival/riots. Love the inclusion of the participant pigs some 20-plus years later justifying their fascism enacted that summer. This documentary looks to be from circa mid- or late-1990s, after both Abbie and Jerry Rubin had died, which would explain the lack of contemporary interviews with either figure. What is the title of this doc, and was this originally released on VHS or only broadcast on (PBS) tv?

You might as well shut down the comments section. There aren’t any even half intelligent people left in the room. I remember as a kid watching the riot in the park and Mayor Daley on TV. But I really didn’t understand the politics in play back then, which are explained pretty well in this documentary. But even as a kid I knew who Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin were.
