I had a T.B.I., Doctors gave me No chance, Moved to 3 hospitals, They told my family to just let me die, Well I did, I died 4 times but only remember the 1st one, This was the last song i got to hear as i died, I woke up 18 days later on life support with this song in my head, Thank you Mr Grohl, You gave me a song and I used it to fight for life.

I attended the Chris Cornell tribute concert in L.A. back in Jan '19, and after the Foo Fighters did their set, Dave remained onstage by himself and performed this version in Chris' honor. It was magical.

This is my 1 year old son’s fav song. after the first couple notes he gets so excited and starts rocking out. He cant get enough of it. Hopefully a little of Grohl’s musical magic rubs off on him

Every time I hear Dave Grohl perform acoustic it almost makes me cry. It's just pure artistic expression and its so genuine. Thanks for existing Dave and for being brave enough to just stand up there and fully be yourself!

Dave is just a great person and I am so happy for his success, he had to be lost when Kurt died... he fought his way back making his own music and now when it's said and done he will be a two time member of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame for Nirvana and The Foo Fighters... Good for you my Brother...

I remember hearing this song on the show waaaayyy back. I got to work, and I couldn't shut it off. I had never thought about FF songs w/ just an acoustic guitar and 1 voice. That song KILLED me that morning.

How do you figure? I mean i get what your saying, that there would be no FF without the success of Nirvana... but I wholeheartedly disagree. He made that first album practically by himself and it's so good I think it would have gotten radio play regardless of the artist. I mean sure did those connections from Nirvana help? Probably.
