I thought it was only me who thought that. I was 11 in 2000 when I saw Foo Fighters on TV so that's the Dave Grohl I knew (short hair and sideburns). Then in 2002 I got really into Nirvana and to me it was like 2 separate people. I never thought about the drummer from Nirvana when I listened to Foo Fighters and never thought of Foo Fighters when I listened to Nirvana. He just looked so different, to me he looked younger in 2000 than in 1991! Now the modern bearded long hair Dave is kind of like a mix between 1991 and 2005 Dave.
@waveypizza3 жыл бұрын
I agree. I've noticed this too on my own, we're definitely not looking at one person. I'd venture to say there are at least 2. The guy at 6:32 is not close to earlier Dave, whether it was one or more guys. He has less pronounced features, and I think the facial hair is a way of disguising. But the nose, eye and teeth differences jump out at me. I'd say in 2002/03 the new guy was introduced, whether or not there were more than one before that is hard to know.

He says he just never really felt like sharing much of his stuff with Kurt so he stuck to the drums and kept quiet. @awesomedave84844 жыл бұрын
@@DavidOsornoL pretty funny that I heard Kurt didn't really like writing the lyrics and people took them too literal when he came up with them. The answer to that problem with right behind him and can't help but wonder what would have been in music now if they combined Daves full musical ability with Kurts left handed out of the box thinking.

Dave's voice is iconic, unmistakable, powerful, raw, and often quite beautiful; and without question, his drumming is just as equally impressive and iconic. He's an absolute legend within the realm of rock music, and he'll certainly remain a powerful influence and source of inspiration for many future artists. Respect.
