Welp it's 20.5 years later and I don't think I've ever been as euphoric as I was that night @ Giants Stadium during Two Step In The Rain.

I believe you’re referring to the following summer at Giants Stadium (6/11/01). I was there for that one about 15 rows back. It was a ridiculous storm but packed with a ton of energy and emotion.

I was there, my 2nd DMB show, 7-11/00 being my first! What an Epic show! 7/11 and 7/13 had better set-lists imo, but 7/12 they probably sounded the best! I’m so glad we have this video...I miss Roi so much, and creepy Boyd too. Leroi is irreplaceable, as it now takes 2 people to play his parts, such a shame! I’ve seen DMB only 72 times, the last show being 9/26/07. It happened to be the last show that Roi played on Say Goodbye, my fav DMB tune...can’t even imagine going to see them again without Leroi and Boyd, I’d rather just remember the good times like this show!! Thanks Chester Copperpot!!

Im just gonna say.. I think it would be fairly amazing if DMB just changed 'Warehouse's' opening to be more like the epic intro on the Dave & Tim Live at Luther College CD.. But with the whole band.. Could be interesting and intense I reckon! Still love the actual opening but in order to keep it fresh or just something to throw off the audience!!!

How on earth did you get this?? I was at this show, in 10th grade at the time, and it was a big one for my concert going career -- then its young stages. I always said that it would be awesome if we could get the jumbo creen recordings of the shows we went to. What an age we live in now!

I agree , I miss Butch Tayler. Now we are stuck with Tim, Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Tim Reynalds, but his electric guitar playing with this band is too much at times. He drowns out Dave's guitar parts at times. Sometimes there is just tooo much going on when tim plays witht the band
@skiadikt
@skiadikt 7 жыл бұрын
a minority opinion but i agree. tim is a freak of nature but preferred the blend and overall sound more with butch, plus his solos were great. also get a rare "sweet up & down" and "grey street" extended version. never understood why dave dropped the 3rd verse.
@jmbusher23
@jmbusher23 6 жыл бұрын
First time seeing someone articulate what I've felt for years. Tim as an acoustic compliment to Dave is incredible. But in the band he absorbs all of Boyd's sound - and in some ways - his presence in the group. Butch matched so well. He was there, but in subtle ways.

I dont think boyd was out of tune In real life, sometimes the recording just makes it sound like that. cause boyd is almost always spot on. He's a classically trained violinist.
