This show is in my top 3 of all time favorite shows. Night 1 at alpine was fun but the heat wave made it miserable. It felt like 120 degrees and I nearly passed out. Second night was much better. The heat wave broke so it was like a nice 85 and they put on a helluva show. Can’t wait til they start touring again.

This is still my favorite show since 2008. It seemed like that night was never gonna end! So awesome! Can't believe they won't be at Alpine this year.

I hadn't been to a show since 2004 and the night before this a buddy called to say we should go. We were about 5 hours from East Troy so we jumped in the car the next morning and headed up there. I remember when he came out and started playing Little Thing I kept asking around the crowd if it was Little Thing because I do not hear very well anymore. Everyone around me had no idea what "Little Thing" was and I realized the crowd dynamic had changed in that 8 year hiatus I had taken. When they played Shotgun I remembered why I loved seeing them so much. It was a memorable night that seems like so long ago, but I can still remember pretty vividly. Thanks for the compilation!

I mean seriously, this show was incredible. After the heat wave the first night, they knew they were gonna kill it this night. Funny The Way It Is, Rapunzel, Loving Wings, Shotgun, Rhyme and Reason & Dreaming Tree (both with Stanley Jordan), Raven, #41, and ending the set with a KILLER Two Step, and then ending the encore with Ants Marching into Thank You (Falletin Me Be Mice Elf Agin). I’ll never forget those two days.

This footage is great quality! 3 1/2 of non-stop awesomeness! Helps me get through these winter months when I'm itching to go to Alpine! Sooo much to like throughout this concert. "Funny the way it is" how Dave has been letting the crowd take over with "Jimi Thing" ever since N2 of the Wrigley concert. Especially love "Dreaming Tree" at 1:24:00 with Stanley Jordan.... check out Jeff rocking the FLUTE, of all instruments, at 1:31:00. Then at 1:37:00 Dave hits a hypnotic trance and Stanley joins in on the groove. DMB has a way of making 60,000 different people feel like the band is playing just for them!!

@shatterpointgames8 жыл бұрын
I'm not bent out of shape about it. I don't actually care, it's just the person tried to act like they were actually wondering what gender he was. When in reality he just wanted to make a comment about the hair looking girly. When your at a computer and using KZbin, a Google website there's no reason you should have to ask a question like this, unless your trying to make a point. Any how not trying to start a KZbin war. I say this to clarify not argue.

I think what is so great about this setlist is how the stuff that normally you hear at the end like one or two songs you're getting like a ton of them right off the bat and you can see how excited not just Dave is but the whole band all night. It's no wonder they wanted to keep playing so long. I wish I'd done these shows that year. Would've made 5 in one summer.
