lol this is phenomenal, it's one of the best representations of what the new lineup can do musically and creatively, funk, blues, classic rock all in one song. It's pure rage. If you don't like buddy's vocals or soul/blues vocals, dunno what to tell you there's more to music than dave matthews, which is always what this band was supposed to be about. Yeh it's short as with many songs on this album, let's see if they grow live.

I don’t understand the negativity that surrounds this album. Yet again I’m young and was raised with albums from Stand Up to this previous album. I’m just grateful DMB has given me something to listen to.

This song is way too short, and I need a live version now. Buddy on backup vocals is 🔥. Also, it is very Beatles-esque that turns into a blusey-jazz vibe that I love. Again, just good, good music, and I expect nothing less. Yes, DMB is not the same band it was 20 years ago. Move on, people. Boyd is gone. Roi (RIP). This band is different. They have to progress with new members, and what I'm hearing is good. If it's no longer your sound/thing/vibe, move on. I'm digging it.

ME👏🏻TOO👏🏻 I am loving this album front to back the same exact way I loved Come Tomorrow. Favoring this album a little more for my taste but still, each album had something I loved about them. AMEN TO THAT!. As a lifelong DMB fan, this album was a HUGE let down!. I mean look at how many songs are under 3 mins!?. There is I think 3 songs on it I've not heard before!?. Then the new ones are soo short that it's a joke!. I used to put a new DMB album on expecting at least an hour of solid listening, but this album is done playing by the time I leave my driveway!. This song could have been soooo good, but instead it feels like an intro they would have had to a song on before these crowded streets!?. This album let me down big time!. Not one good NEW song, and soo short that it's almost insulting!. I saw the track list and opted to download it off of pirate bay instead of buying it. I've been a fan of these guys since before they were hugely popular and learned most of daves songs on guitar, and became a drummer because of carter and even opened my own recording studio having had these guys as my inspiration, but this album was just LAZY to me and ZERO musical inspiration for me, as I already heard pretty much every song already!. After waiting YEARS for a new album, this was more like an insult. I LOVE this band, but this was heart breaking. I've listened to the album maybe three times and I'm already bored with it...

5 years since the last album and this is what they waited so long to put out? This album might be the worst thing DMB has put out and that’s saying something with the garbage released over the past decade! Hardly any sax, Tim once again playing his electric guitar like it’s 1972, Ross making trumpet sounds like two elephants fighting and where is Steph with a stand out bass line? except for Break free, that was released over 15 years ago when this band was actually relevant, that’s all he has to offer musically? Dave if your going to make an album filled with slow repetitive lyrics why not just release a solo album? This record will end up like the other 5 albums that proceeded it. Forgettable!!!

Yep just listened to the whole album. The only good song is break free which was my worst fear. And the live version of break free from 15 years ago is ten times better than this studio version. What a disappointment.

Someone else that actually speaks the truth. I can't stand people that think Dave can do no wrong and that everything he puts out is gold. I've seen DMB since the beginning and today's version can't hold a candle to the original.
