I don't think you understand the difference between speed and accuracy. As the other 2 posters have said it's filled with a lot of mistakes and missed notes. Of course he's an amazing guitar player but just because he's playing fast here doesn't mean it's immaculate at all. You can watch and listen to the flat and missed notes all throughout the solo. I'm taking nothing away from his as a player as yes he's amazing at times but on this song he's far from perfect.

They met at a local bar. Dave was amazed that someone could out play him. Insisted Tim join with the band.
@bray18724 жыл бұрын
4:45 notice how Dave nods as he mouths "do it right here" to Tim, then proceeds to watch totally mesmerized as Tim shreds on that acoustic guitar. This on stage interaction is subtle, yet has such a HUGE impact on the entertainment value of this performance. Just goes to show what masters of live performance these men are.
@richiepawlowski68484 жыл бұрын
Yes! Also it seems Dave decided mid song to cut out the last verse as you can see Tim is prepping for the end of the song and Dave turns suddenly and spends a few seconds looking in Tim's direction to get his attention to tell him. It certainly seems spur of the moment for Dave as in you know what I'm ending it right here. I don't think it's that often that he cuts Two Step short? Grey Street yes but Two Step usually is played all of the way through?

Love these lyrics! Can't help but notice they are Biblical the way are written, like the Beatitudes in my the Bible, A Masterpiece!
@Changelingheart4 жыл бұрын
@@dudejrryan ..so many of his songs have the Biblical Scripture reference I can't help but believe it is Dave's intent to proclaim his Spiritually fired soul. I believe he believes in a power greater and says this, all of it to us, together. He does another song, and I need help finding it. The Reference to even more Bible Lessons. The "I am that I am" theme we hear Yaweh speak. Anyway, it's a long and lyrical story. A man and a girl are on a life journey, I believe. But the tale is very long, saw and heard it once and never to locate again. Do to know it? They climb high etc...it's an amazing tale in a song by Dave. Do you know it? Please pm me..
