I dont think a lot of people caught how great the writing of this season is. When they were on the tour bus and pointing out how Dave nit picks everything when looking for a woman and lists all his red flags, one of them said not being Rachel McAdams was a big one.

Living in NYC & obsessed with Regina George, I've seen her Broadway play twice and met her at the stagedoor like maybe 6 times before hopping in my subway from grad school class LOL. All those times, she consistently showed a "no diva" attitude and super nice to her fans. She takes the time to take photos with everyone and sign autographs. I got like 2 photos and 6 signatures from her lol. Love how she's sooo nice on top of being nice as a canadian. And her range as an actress is amazing! Let's not forget she filmed The Notebook & Mean Girls in the same year 📘💗🎬

Oh no, that's not how shows work. Dave is just a character, like that Rachel girl. He's not real. Yes, there's an actor, but there's not a rapper out there called Lil Dicky rapping about changing places with Chris Brown Freaky Friday style or doing a video for super cheap. It's just how the story is written. If I recall, the actor that plays Dave is Vince Vaughn.

If we used the numbers argument that would mean that the avengers movies are the best movies ever (spoiler alert: it's not)

He's quoting from a news article from when Season 1 of DAVE became the most watched comedy series in network (FX) history. And the only reason the article mentioned Atlanta was because Atlanta previously held the record. So it was to provide context that Atlanta previously held the record, and DAVE broke that record. I'd assume that @startenderspacebar commented with that quote as a rebuttal to the original commenter saying DAVE's "viewing figures are laughable".
