Dave Mustaine. Smart a brilliant guitarist a true original thrash metal pioneer and a wonderful human being. God bless. I don't care for the Megadeth/Metalica argument just be grateful both exist.

I don't have a problem with Metallica as a band although my personal opinion and as a guitarist myself I believe Megadeth is way more technical in guitar and song writing in general .but like I said that's just "my personal opinion..my only problem with Metallica is their mediocre drummer who had mommy and daddy give him all the cash he needed to get everything and anything he wanted..dave struggled and came from poverty..he had no boost or silver spoon

I fucking respect Dave for cleaning himself up from drug abuse, and I don't care if he is a Christian, Muslim, Sikh or anything. I don't give a shit about his religious views. I love his music, his personality, although some would say religion comes into the fold of Personality, but whatever. I hope he'll stay healthy, and have an amazing life again.

It is quite clear that Dave Mustaine understands every aspect of recording/studio engineering. Not only that, he understands and respects the technical side of his gear and actively is involved with its development. Some big musicians, not naming anyone specific, just want an 89 Les Paul and the biggest amp they can get and don't care about how to adjust it to create their own sound. I have huge respect for Mustaine.

Many rock musicians have this HUGE image and actually have no substance to them...they're phonies. Not a phony bone in Dave's body. He backs up that huge persona...no bullshit and the man DOES WHAT HE WANTS. Nobody's gonna tell him not to become a Christian or anything else. A perfect example of what a man should be.

He has aged alot in the past five years . His vocals are not as strong as they used to be, but he is still making amazing music. Dystopia is Megadeth's best album since Rust In Peace in my opinion. He still has a lot of drive even after 35 years of Megadeth and 15 studio albums.

I chatted with Dave Mustaine a long time ago ('89) while sharing a road case backstage after soundcheck at a show i worked on that included the official promotion for the movie Shocker...Mustaine and Alice Cooper guested later in the evening but earlier on I didn't have a clue who he was as I wasn't into the thrash metal scene...anyway what I remember was he was really polite and ...thinking back...seemed as relieved as much as surprised that I obviously didn't know or maybe didn't care who he was so after studying me for a few seconds he shook hands.. introduced himself as Dave and started talking / slurring about some stuff he was confused and conflicted about ...he was so cripplingly wasted and depressed I figured he was a bit delusional ...he wasn't..I was fairly sure from sad personal experience with other musicians that this guy wouldn't last more than a few weeks at most .he was snorting heroin at the time. Around a year later i saw an interview wirh him and i absolutely couldn't believe that this picture of health was the same guy....I'm happy he made it and continued to live his life the way he was driven to live it. He knows who he is and is damn good at being himself..all power to him...Dave Mustaine is an inspiration

I think because not so apparent heavy metal had a truthfulness to it. It was about not conforming but being truthful even with yourself. This was more true at the time. When the good bands that were like Megadeth such as Metallica, they played good music over just playing what was popular. So it was about being true. True Christianity is exactly like that. It is all about not conforming but siding with truth even if it is not popular.

So what do you think is gonna block the sun for 3 days? Elenin maybe!? while the moon is blood (eclipse) cant naturally have a 3 day eclipse or a solar and lunar one at the same time..
