It's a set neck, Gibson is a set neck. They are the same, all Mohogony. It's not a 1 piece as Mustaine states. And he states the a bolt on is cheap. A Bolt on will have more sustaine, adjustability, and repairability if required. He's obviously not a guitar geek. And to state that no guitar is better is funny. Go get a Music Man, Suhr, Tom Anderson, or even a Fender Custom Shop, etc... now those are great guitars. Dave must have gotten a good deal with Dean and is advertising them awfully hard. Then to talk about a pickup that can do acoustic. Wow. That's a Piezo bridge.

He is probably a guitar geek considering his history and ability. If bolt-on necks were better than one-piece, then he'd be using one. But since all the best guitars ever made did not have bolt-on necks, I think I have to side with Mustaine on this one.

This Dean is truly as metal and elegant as it gets! It reminds me of the crackle finish that was huge in the 80s ( Jackson, BCRich, Hamer...) It also reminds me a bit of the Kerry King's ESP from Seasons in the abyss and Divine Intervention era! But this Dean is on league of it's own!!! Damn i wish i had the cash!!!!!!! Dave, all due respect as a musician, but just because someone doesn't buy YOUR guitar doesn't mean they suck. For being who you always have been, only with some extra things to say, you are the one who sucks. When I was younger, I was a Megadeth fan. I have not been for several years. If you (Dave Mustaine) get to see this comment, read Matthew 5:37 and tell me if you can say that, whether in interviews with magazines or on video & radio interviews, you can say you have done that. I can tell the fans, with proof from his own mouth, Dave Mustaine does not always keep his word to anyone.
