During a bear market, the headlines will focus on negative news, whether it's declining economic growth, geopolitical upheaval, cultural and legal turmoil, or some combination of all three. I listened to a podcast of someone that grew his reserve from $120k to almost $460k during this Red season, can you share tips on how to make such aggressive proceeds in short periods?.

What does “woke is more important” means? Students should be taught money management altogether as early as middle school in my opinion. My Econ class in high school was a joke back in the 80’s! Times are very different now and the curriculums taught today need a complete overhaul to capture subject matters that are more important!

I know grown adults in their 40’s who have no idea about personal finance, don’t save and are in default. There’s this HUGE disconnect with people. Like they cannot understand what they’re doing to themselves.

I had to get out of my Marriage to get out of debt. I left with over 70K, but within 4 years I was debt free and was able to buy a house. In 2 years that house will be paid off. I have no car loans, no CC balance, and I'm so close to being completely debt free - and this June-July, the rug pull happens and the dollar will start to collapse... It will be slow at first, but people still won't know what hit them. My only saving grace is my Mortgage is fixed, I farm my yard and I have chicks that yard feeds. It won't stop the power bill and property tax costs from inflating to the moon Weimar style, but with luck I'll survive right up till they enslave us all with a digital currency - which if people in the country were smart, should start a civil war against the Fed government.

Aren't they the same. All debt has some consequences. Taxpayers can't simply print more money as the US federal government continues to do despite not repaying older debt. There is an end coming sooner or later. What happens then?

Dave Ramsey gives good advice to others but he used the bankruptcy laws to get himself out of debt. He didn't live like crap for 3 to 5 years like he tells his callers his do. Ramsey wiped out all his debt with bankruptcy and never lived a terrible life as his callers are told to do. Just a complete hypocrite.

@@Travis12861 You missed my point. My point is that Dave Ramsey does NOT practice what he preaches. He tells all his callers not to file for bankruptcy, but instead to live like crap for many years while paying down their debt; even though when he was young and irresponsible and got into debt; he used the bankruptcy laws to wipe out 100% of his debt. So I find him to be a complete hypocrite. For me; I'm old and retired and don't have any debt. And unlike Dave Ramsey; I never used bankruptcy loans to get out of debt. I worked hard and did well and can spot a hypocrite hustler like Dave Ramsey a mile away

You can’t use only cash. We have to pay bills online. You can’t walk into a company and pay cash. Amazon for some of us who live in areas with minimal shopping opportunities need to order online. You need a credit card. The answer is pay off your card in full every month. That’s what I do. I know what I can or can’t afford. We live in an increasingly shallow, materialistic society. People want stuff…the latest iPhone which is not different from the previous iPhone.
