That bottom 8th mound visit was the most underrated, the most pivotal, and the most beautiful moment of the game for me.

I love all the intangibles that are not in the box score. This is a different Roberts than years prior. Great to hear about Freddie and how much respect there is between the manager and his players. Let’s go Dodgers🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

I know they say dont make signings based on emotion, but Buehler and Treinen absolutely earned a payday to stay in dodger blue.

Doc gets a lot of heat for being an analytics guy but in this post season when it counted, he kept going with his gut like a great old school manager.

Great coach, I better man who can relate to his players. And people were calling for him to be fired. Great job coach I am so happy for you to still be our coach for years to come. 🙏🏽❤️

True leadership. Robert’s not only is tracking the overall game, but has the EQ to slow down the pace of the game to help control his pitcher’s emotions - brilliant

People were talking a lot about many things for game 5, but I was all over Treinen's 8th inning. Heroic is an understatement. Well done.
@josephzepeda7608Ай бұрын
Respect for this one. Treinen looked like he was losing his stuff against Chisholm - his sweeper's lateral movement was dying. I was worried. Then after this visit, quick popout from Stanton, and Treinen dug deep for one more *killer* sweeper to Rizzo's back heel. Gutsy moment, so glad Roberts read the moment correctly

If this is the version of Dave we’re getting from now on… it’s over for the rest of MLB. Doc really impressed me with his Manager IQ, mixing analytics with old-fashioned coaching techniques.
