Thanks, David, interestingly, 'Don't Kill The Whale' was played on the John Peel Show, when it was released in 1978 (It is still on an audio of the show on You Tube). Yes were totally opposite to the punk, new wave and frontline reggee that dominated his record choices at the time, and Yes would have been classed as a dinosaur, but, he played it because, as you said , it has a noble sentiment to it.

Nothing to do with 'terrible tunes' but watching you read off a few lyrics got me thinking of this corker from Half Man Half Biscuit.....'I did the shake and vac and broke me fucking back and now my library books are nine months overdue' from the unforgettable song 'I love you because (you look like Jim Reeves).

Babooshka ya-ya, Invisible Touch yea-eh, and the entire Tormato album? You can hardly be described as a “yes-man” then David 😂 Don’t expect you own anything by the Yeah-Yeah-Yeah’s in your collection 😉 Another great 5. Very entertaining 😊 Would it be bad for me to nominate “Ebony and Ivory”? I know it had good intentions, but deary, deary me……that has haunted me for decades…

Your dislike for Graceland is pretty obvious. "I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!" 😂I am with you on that Genesis track. Babooshka is a total nightmare for me too! Can't stand it!

Great video David. Funny too.. Ps. Never did get why an image of splattered tomato warranted 'Tormato' as an album title...?? What's with the 'r' ? Or was it a spelling mistake they never admitted to, like 'Shakespear's Sister'..

Yeah, that's a crazy image Tom. By Tor, they're referring to a hill top somewhere in south-western England (I used to know where, but have forgotten), but to use some visual pun is laughably bad. 😅

I have never even heard that Yes record! The cover really is awful. Wow, Graceland is my fav Paul Simon track! I agree with you on your last three 🙂I don't like anything on the final Pink Floyd album.
