Brief guide on how to survive all The Mines monsters: Cryptid (Red aura): Arrival indicated by the room briefly turning red upon entering, goes down a straightforward path to the room's exit after about 5 seconds and rebounds a random number of times. Best way to survive is to stay out of its route. Crawl (Green aura): The most frequent of the three, is summoned to a room immediately upon entry. While it's mostly stationary and harmless, it's important not to run, as doing so will make it become hostile and chase after the player. Creep (Blue aura): The most difficult to handle out of the three. Arrival indicated by a faint sound and the room briefly turning blue upon entering. Goes after all unmined ores in the room (and the player if they're within its sight), going through walls if it has to. Emits HIM's ambient sound while still present. Can sometimes be spawned alongside Cryptid. While Crawl and Creep no longer spawn during the escape sequence, Cryptid appears in the room significantly faster, making it more difficult to survive the chase.
