As a human I try to remember these places are just things and things aren't meant to be forever. It's just a place and u can always live in the memories of what that place was. But I try not to get hung up on "oh this place was this to me" kinda stuff. Land turns into homes or cabin that eventually turn into maybe multiple homes that then change into no homes but businesses and so on. Nothing will last forever and that's why it's important to treasure the places u make memories and appreciate them while you're there. And then it'll become an important place to another person. I know it's hard but it's easier to accept if u remind yourself these are just places and things and they will only be there for so long.
