I have the same Silverline and Cab + a ID 260 TVP as well and I couldn’t agree more with you ! The TVP series was a completely underrated and went under the radar because they went for more of a traditional amp design and tube feel at a time when Fender Mustangs and other more budget modelling offerings with large company marketing budgets were flooding the market with amps that offered tonnes of effects , amp models , LCD screens etc….. bang for your buck stuff whereas TVP was way more of a crossover between valve tone and feel and the dependability of solid state design and a more giggable product and then came next was the knockout punch …… Boss Katana . Katana in my opinion closely cloned TVP but put a little spin on it with their marketing and R and D teams and then they were sold at a price point that Roland / Boss could flood the planet with ( they are great amps ,don’t get me wrong ! ) I feel this is when Silverline was an attempt to respawn and relaunch the technology but something didn’t quite transfer over and that’s where I’m at with it If I didn’t already have a TVP 260 ( + ID 30 and ID 15 ) I would probably be thrilled with the Silverline but side by side I would take the TVP on any day of the week ending in “y” Great demo and we are hearing the same thing Cheers mate , great stuff

Appreciate the demo - MUCH appreciated! Silverline sounded like FM radio. TVP sounded like AM radio. Was that a recording error or does the Silverline sound that ballsy???

Lol ..No error..That's what it sounds like

Thanks a lot. Very helpful. I once owned a SILVERLINE 50 combo. Nice sounds but very compressed to my ears. I love the clarity and openness of my ID30 TVP combo. I thought it was just me! Refreshing demo with nice humour thrown in and no endless self-indulgent solos. Thanks again mate 😀🙏🏻🇬🇧😎

Silver Line sounds bigger the other one sounds. Not as loud they both sounds good but other test bottom one has more effects so no comparison

As soon as you went thru the emulated output you negated the real test of the 2 amps. All this shows is a difference in the emulation algorithm that they designed into the amp. Sorry but the only way to really compare these is thru identical speakers in the output.

I agree. This is a review of the emulation. Total waste for most 👎👎👎

They both sound good but the silverline didn't have the same balls, or less bottom end however you want to describe it lol.
