Massive fan of Buckethead and owner of this guitar here! Thanks for such an informative review of this thing too. For $240 plus $27 shipping (no taxes) I can't imagine a better instrument for the money, especially considering the specs on this thing. And I'd bet it'll be one of the first guitars to go out of stock. Baritone guitars are honestly more of a switch from regular guitars than I thought, but now whenever I play a regular scale length guitar it feels like a little Barbie toy. If you want to check out Buckethead's music, I'd recommend some of his heavier songs like Final Wars, Frozen Brains Tell no Tales, or Lotus Island, based on your playing. He has some really good down-tuned stuff. Cheers!

Thanks for this inspiring video, I just bought a Chibson Buckethead from our friends at Ali at it looks exactly like that for just $230 and I'm really happy it looks like the real phased out Gibson Buckethead Les Paul model. But there's a lot of difference -> this Firefly had locking tuners, it's 27 inch scale with the Firefly logo and the fretboard looks like Rosewood if I'm not mistaken.... While the Chibson actually had the legendary "iconic" logo🤭😁, no locking tuners (only Grover), It's not a baritone but still 24 frets and it had a real dark ebony fretboard which is way darker than the Firefly and both have killswitches, high output pickups and no fret makers.🔥 The Buckethead is probably the BEST Les Paul that I've tried.🔥 Buckethead LesPaul Rocks.🤘 SUBSCRIBED!💯
@BlackHole-powerАй бұрын
Yeah, Chibson Buckethead is way better than the Firefly Buckethead, It has the Gibson logo, it's a bit chambered so it's light, It has standard specs Ebony fretboard, standard Grover tuners. The only advantage of the Firefly is that it's baritone scale. The rest goes to Chibson.🤘 Chibson Buckethead > Firefly.
@vorpalbladesАй бұрын
@BlackHole-power If it's not a baritone, what's the point?
@BlackHole-powerАй бұрын
@@vorpalblades Like what i've listed above, the Chibson Buckethead Les Paul got almost ALL the exact specs that the Original Buckethead LP has [except the baritone scale]. Offcourse its not for everyone's taste, but for me to have a Les Paul that has: - 24 frets - Killswitches - partially chambered (lighter body) - Ebony fretboard (99% of LP use Rosewood) - Grover Tuners - high output stock pickups - Gibson logo (instead of Firefly)🤭 For me that's more than enough to be the perfect Les Paul, besides not everyone is as tall as Buckethead (6"5"), so it's okay because the Baritone is 27 inches scale while the Chibson is 25.5 scale, the difference is very minamal. barely 1.5 inches. So Chibson Buckethead takes the cake.👍But hey, Firefly is a great alternative. Cheers!🙂
@2good2betrue3Ай бұрын
@@BlackHole-power Wow!, thanks for the info, It really made me happy to know that I made the right choice in buying the Chibson instead of the Firefy baritone. If only Gibson will re-issue again the 2010 Buckethead signature, I will gladly buy one again even if the price was like when it was first released at $ 8,000. Now it's being sold on Reverb for 12 grand used😆 and there's only 1 or 2 guitars remaining.🤦 too expensive but worth it as collectors item.

Well, a guitar makes noise when you strum the strings. I'm guessing, even though you don't play. You already understand this from seeing rock stars. Those crazy screachings you hear are pinch harmonics.. All of the rest are palm muting and the others are just power chords. They are making some really decent cheap guitars now days.

A baritone guitar has a longer scale length, typically between 26.5 and 30.5 inches, compared to a regular guitar's scale length of around 24 inches..also most baritone Guitars have heavier gauge strings like 12s or like this guitar in the video has 13s ..the heavy strings keep the strings from being flabby from the long scale length. A baritone guitar is usually tuned to a lower pitch than a regular guitar, such as B standard (B-E-A-D-F#-B) or A standard (A-D-G-C-E-A). The Amp I use in all my Videos in the Blackstar id260tvp..unfortunately they dont make anymore, but you can find them used online sometimes Hope this helps KEEP ROCKIN 😎🤘
