1966 Ford 4000 Tractor Maintenance - Oil Change

Just changed the oil on my Ford tractor.
I used a 15W-40 Mobil Delvac oil and a Donalson oil filter.
So far, I like how the engine runs with these parts so, there's no reason for me to complain about it.
I will also add some oil treatment in it, to make it last.
I hope you all like the video.
I have more videos to edit and upload on this topic, but I need some more time to make those videos.

The best thing you can do for any decades old tractor is to drain, flush out the debris and sludge, change filters, and refill with the correct oils . ALL the fluids.

Man I have a ‘67 and I’m so glad it has an actual oil filter. This looks like a pain lol. I’m not sure if it’s been modified to accept one or if that’s how it came from the factory.

It's been modified. The kits are only about $30

My brother I m very happy to see a happy tractor , my brother I have a little thing to tell u, use amsoil engine oil and you will thank me later , amsoil will cost you little more but it's a complete insurance of engine's long life. Have a nice day brother.

Centering the filter housing on the gasket on the engine some times leaks had to correct it twice today.

how many liters did it take?

It should take just under 8L. I think the spin on filter-type takes a little less, this might take slightly closer to 8L.

Foarte frumos toarce motorul la acest tractor! Cred că a fost-și în continuare este-și fiabil.Dacă îi faci mentenanță la timp te vei mai folosi de el mult și bine.Văd că folosești și un ulei de caliate(Mobil Delvac 15w40 folosesc și eu la un Massey Ferguson 690T) care îți va proteja bine motorul.Felicitari și like!

Buna. Da, este un tractor fiabil. Singurul minus este ca sunt greu de gasit anumite piese. Dar, totusi majoritatea se gasesc. Imi place si mie Mobil Delvac, mi se pare ca e ce trebuie pentru Ford. Mersi de comentariu si spor in continuare.
